Spring 2025 Detox: Cleanse & Energize

Day 9 - Spring 2025 Detox: Cleanse & Energize Challenge

Day 9 - Spring 2025 Detox: Cleanse & Energize Challenge

Welcome to Day 9 of our Spring 2025 Detox: Cleanse & Energize Challenge!

Tuesday, April 15th

By now, you may be noticing more than just physical benefits. Maybe your breath feels deeper. Maybe you’re reacting to stress a little differently. Maybe you just feel a bit more you. That’s the power of consistent practice—it doesn’t just change your body, it shifts how you move through your life.

Today is about trusting the process. Some days feel strong and energized, others feel slow and introspective. Both are equally valuable. The real magic of this challenge isn’t in how perfect each pose looks—it’s in the showing up, in staying present, and in giving yourself space to evolve.

Reflection Prompt: What are you noticing in your body or mind now that you’ve been practicing consistently for over a week? Even the smallest shift is worth celebrating.

And don’t forget to drop a comment on the challenge page or share a post or story on Instagram or Facebook. It’s a beautiful way to stay connected and a chance to win one of our four amazing prize packages! 🎁🌍

Keep trusting yourself. You’re doing something incredible—one breath, one class, one day at a time.

Here are today's class options:

Detox Yoga 4 with Elise Fabricant

40 min class

Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Feeling icky? Fuzzy? Sluggish? This class will help you release toxic build up (in body AND mind) and renew and refresh yourself. You'll twist, rinse, wring and flush out your system, ending just 40 minutes later feeling bright and shiny again.

We Move In Spirals with Christen Bakken

45 min class

Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Do you ever look at your life as though it were Google Map direction? Feel like we are all supposed to get from point a to point b as fast as possible? Or like our yoga practice needs to make only forward progress? This is linear, robotic thinking, but we aren't machines or computers. We are human beings and a part of nature. In this vinyasa class, students will move their breath and bodies in circles, cycles, and spirals - just like the planets and oceans move. We will explore well-rounded sequencing, with a slight emphasis on twists, as a way to remind ourselves of our own nature. We move in spirals is a chance to use the wisdom from places you've been before to inform where you are headed.

*you only need to choose one class

**If you're feeling in the mood for something different you can choose any of our free classes on our site (or any other class you'd like!). The most important thing is to show up and get on your mat!

Practice with Elise was really perfect for my sluggish feelings on Tuesday

Lovely class by Elise tonight. I enjoyed the slow tempo but still feel like I got a solid stretch in with all the twists and poses.

I chose we move in spirals and really enjoyed the creative flow and inspiring message

I love Elise’s classes. This is another one that I enjoy. I like the pacing and her gentle direction and encouragement.

Thanks Elise for that wonderful relaxing practice.

Christen’s class hit the spot today. The cues and playful movement around the mat makes for a fun class!

I had 20 minutes today between work and kids activities, but I'm being mindful of the opportunity this challenge offers me to find time to take care of myself, so I used that 20 minutes and truly enjoyed "Quick Energy Flow 1 " from Claire Petretti Marti. It was a great class, and it gave me the time I needed to be mindful of myself today!

Elise's class really hit the spot this evening. I needed the relaxation and the work on twisting. It was a great way to end the day.

After this week of daily practice, Im feeling more grounded and aware of my body’s needs.
After an afternoon in a conference (that’s being held in a hotel undergoing remodeling 😳), Elise’s class was a perfect way to detox. Tomorrow’s a full day, wish me luck!

Ik heb de les van Elise gedaan. Fijne les om heerlijk te ontspannen in de avond.
Duidelijke instructie en zachte flow. Ik ben rustiger geworden na de les.

I chose Detox Yoga 4 today because my body is still achy and sore.

Today I did Detox Yoga 4 with Elise Fabricant. It was very relaxing and good for stretching.

Did Elise’s class today. I think I needed something more upbeat to start a very busy day. For me this would be nice in the evening to wind down.

Busy morning so needed to get a quick yoga practice in. I chose one of Mary Baker’s class- she’s becoming one of my new favorite instructors.
If my plans go the way I want them, I’ll do an evening unwind class.
Thanks again YDL for this challenge! It does reinforce my daily practices and I always feel so much better. 🙏🏼

Today, I did Elise's class. I appreciated the slower pace today!

This so far has been my favorite class so far! Did Christin Bakken’s class. Found it very relaxing, but moved hitting a lot of practice postures! Added to my favorites!

For day 9 I chose Elise Fabricant’s class (Detox Yoga 4).
Wonderful class. I feel revitalized and ready to face the rest of my day. Thank you 🙏

Moving in Spirals is one of my favorites! But in the spirit of trying new classes throughout the challenge, I did Elise's class. Very nice and fluid movements and twists and breathing. I love the challenges because they DO ask me to make time every day for renewing and refreshing, and I DO feel more energized and in tune with my breathing, my body and my self. Om shanti

I really enjoyed the Detox Yoga 4 class with Elise. One thing I have noticed since starting this challenge is how much my posture has improved. I feel like I am sitting up taller and walking taller. I have also noticed that I am not making any excuses on why I can’t do yoga today. It’s a challenge, I have to go do it.

Avatar  Mary Ann last monthReply

I choose Christen class today. Although I was slow in transitioning in some of the postures, I was able to adapt. Great direction and messages!

I did the Detox 4 with Elise Fabricant. This was an awesome class. I will do this one again. The need to learn more about this "dura roll"(spelling) I really enjoyed that pose. She does a great job with descriptive cueing and getting more out of the poses. Thank you, Elise.

Did Elise’s class this morning. She is one of my favorites, a little slower, very clear, and easier (for me) to keep breath in line with movement. Thanks Elise!

Avatar  SandyC last monthReply

Happy Tuesday! Both are great choices today. After a 45-minute cycle class this morning, I chose Else's class. It is a wonderful slow-paced class that focuses on breathing and stretching. I will practice this class on my mat again.

Reflecting on Day 1 through today of this challenge, I'm now in unison with my breath and focus. Also, my stretches are becoming easier. Terrific milestones for me.

Make today a great day! Namaste...

I chose Elise's class this morning. Great class with a lot of gentle twists.

Avatar  Macsek last monthReply

Mmm, I finally did the advanced practice one today, the We Move In Spirals. I was a bit afraid looking at the side crow on the cove pic, but aside from that one advanced modification it was actually a nice relaxing rather than challgenging practice, it was fit for today!

Avatar  Marissa last monthReply

Thank you for this challenge because it’s helping hold me accountable to make time for myself. I chose a different class today because I had less time and went with an under 30 minute quickie with Keith Allen.

Avatar  Cara last monthReply

I tried Christine's class this morning. It had a great message and was wonderful for me to try a new style. Great cueing, also!

Avatar  Elissa last monthReply

I love Christen's classes! So clear and gentle in her guidance

Avatar  Vania last monthReply

Avatar  Susan last monthReply

I did Christen class and I like the twists. I still can’t do the side crow but I will continue to try again and again.

Avatar  Chris last monthReply

Elise’s class was slow and challenging this morning. Just what I needed to start the day.

Avatar  Andrea Ward last monthReply

I completed Elise’s class today. It was a wonderful and gentle way to start my day!

Avatar  Love-Porch-Yoga last monthReply

I did a yoga class in town today. Felt pretty stiff yesterday but better today. I'm guessing twisting every day is squeezing out some stagnant tissues which don't normally see so much action. We'll see what week 2 brings!
