It s good but it strains my upper abdomen and it s aches.
good
The ab work in this class is great - something I really needed after the pregnancy and delivery! Just a heads up for those who have recently delivered: I needed to wait until after my stitches healed to do a lot of the flow - there are a few yogi squats and lots of lunges that were uncomfortable until I was all healed.
While this flow is good for opening the tight shoulder, back, and neck muscles, I found it really slow and, being a mom with Diastasis Recti, I know that crunches should never be done and yet they re included in this video.

I said in the video after checking for diastasis recti that you should stick with the leg lifts and not lift the shoulders. The video may be slower because it is specifically for postpartum moms who are dealing with less sleep, more energy demands on their bodies, and major hormonal changes. This is a time to slowly get back into shape and to make sure to nurture yourself and not do too much too fast. Some women may bounce back quickly but the majority of new moms do not. Doing too much and making yourself exhausted or just tired is a recipe for PPD. My goal is to nurture and make a new mom feel good physically and emotionally.
I am 1 year postnatal, and this felt so great for me.
This class is perfect for the new mommy dying to get back into yoga shape. My neck shoulders and back feel so much better! Also, appreciated the ab work which will make carrying baby easier on my back. MORE more, more, please! Would love to see one with a higher level of intensity, this will only last me a few weeks as I get back to shape...also wouldn t mind a weight loss element to help relieve me of those extra baby pounds. Thank you, again for the perfect yoga class for new mommies!
Shane,, Hopefully it s not too late but we ve got two more coming out in the next week or two and I am filming another this coming week. I love the feedback and will try to step it up a bit for you or give more options for those who are ready. Thanks so much and congratulations!!! Liza
Really good first yoga class since having my c-section. Had some nice stretching and flow sequences. Look forward to more from this site
