This is an excellent class that I ve used throughout two pregnancies. There are some great modifications that can be used for this class that are touched upon in some of Jennifer Lux s other prenatal classes, and at 30 weeks I definitely need those modifications. This class was no problem during my first and second trimesters, but during the third I need to take breaks and drink lots of water - but am so glad there s a more challenging class available!

This class is so challenging but so fulfilling. I never want to do it and am always so glad I did. I ve learned the harder I focus and the harder I work, the better I feel and the more my nausea subsides. This has helped me greatly improve my balance, was a staple in my last pregnancy and is already a staple in this one! Thanks Jennifer!

I like these classes. It is a good workout with good adjustments for a pregnant body. I am not a big fan of the spiritual messaging/ food shaming/ pregnant body analogies. There is some of that here, but it is kept to minimal so it is easy to ignore.

Real yoga for pregnancy! I enjoyed a lot and feel like I m not pregnant (22 weeks in fact): right convinient poses, good explanations. Quality project! Thanks

This was a wonderful class! I’ve done the class in all of the different lengths, and I have to say the 70 Minute class is a good challenge! I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant and will be coming back to this one regularly!

I loved this class. It is what is says it is: a challenging class for pregnant experienced yogis given by an experienced, soothing teacher. I also appreciate that it s one of few shorter classes available in prenatal yoga of this site.

Awesome class!!! I am an advanced yoga practitioner and was struggling to find a challenging class. I broke a sweat and felt a nice burn. This is an older video but I would love for this instructor to come back and do another prenatal class on YD.

Liked the class - lots of balance work, but nice. Could use more actual stretching during the restorative phase of class!

Fantastic class! Calming yet you feel the burn. ;)

This class will definitely get your heart pounding! Turns out, I m not in as great a shape as I thought. This class definitely kicked my butt a little (and that was only the 35 minute one)! While it s meant more active than relaxing and it doesn t specifically focus on stretching your back, my back felt much better afterwards!
Definitely try it out!

Wow, I could maybe handle this one before, but definitely not in the third trimester! A definite, definite work out as I enter month nine. I recommend the Prenatal Vinyasa Flow by the same instructor (45 min version) for some great adjustments and symptom relief in late pregnancy. Especially back and hip pain. Very important!
This one is probably best for the second trimester, if you are trying to build leg strength for squatting and other positions during labor.

Great pre natal class. Broke a sweat but not physically exhausting. Nice range of positions and great instructor who brings insight into labor and pregnancy.

This is by far my favorite prenatal yoga class on this website. Exactly what I want and need!

I am an experienced yogi and was concerned that prenatal yoga wouldn t be challenging enough. I m only 12 weeks pregnant, but found this class to be absolutely brilliant- plenty of opportunity to challenge myself, but with loads of great options as I progress through my pregnancy. 35 minutes is a great length as well. Thank you!

I started with the 45 minute class as my very first class on this website. It had the best reviews and seemed like a great fit. It was a great start! I will definitely be sore tomorrow, and that s what I wanted. If I don t like any of the other classes, I will use this class daily- soothing voice, great poses, and great pointers to bring to the labor room.

I loved that there were some advanced balancing poses in this video. I wanted a bit of a faster pace but it was also nice to really feel the stretch and hold a pose.

I like this instructor s calm and clear voice. I will use it over and over during my pregnancy.

Wow! Exactly what I was looking for! I was challenged throughout the flow in a way I haven t been with a lot of prenatal yoga videos. I also love how the instructor talks about preparing yourself for labor during the challenging poses and compares some of the longer poses to contractions.

My thighs are going to be killing!! Great practice today, took half a star because I wasn t a big fan of feeling rushed during savasana. Then after she spoke her piece I knew it was over just when the music ended so it didn t feel complete to not end together. Otherwise I enjoyed this class very much, felt like it was what I needed. I m now 18 weeks and have very very little dizziness so I had no difficulty with any of the movements. I recommend taking this class!!

I find this video to be exceptional particularly as a relative newcomer to yoga. Prenatal is the only thing I have found to relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy and I am thankful for these videos! I find it particularly easy to follow the pose instructions and appreciate the reminder to breathe!

I m now entering my third trimester and the 45 minute version of this class has been my go-to class for a challenge for several months. Great class, good flow, challenging poses, easy to understand modifications... I even like the music. Highly recommended.

I m only 10 weeks pregnant (haven t even announced it yet) but this last week during my regular classes I could feel differences in my abdomen so I figured it couldn t hurt to check out some prenatal courses. I was a little hesitant because I wasn t sure if it d be the challenge I was looking for - but it was! I know that continuing this class will help me find the strength I ll need both mentally and physically for what I m about to face in the next several months.

What an excellent class! It s a good workout - challenging, but rewarding. I bought the 45 minute version, and it s the perfect length for me!

This class is wonderful, easy to follow and has a great selection of poses. However, towards the end there is a large amount of negativity about the birthing process that I don t believe is good for pregnant women to hear. Transition is hard and could make you want to quit, you need endurance etc. This is horrible. Your mind is so relaxed during yoga and so open to suggestion that it seems wrong to put these negative views forward. Many women do not endure their birthing time but enjoy it and others find the period of transition the most exctiting and wonderful of all. I think the class is designed perfectly but during the "holding" poses some some positive affirmations would be much nicer to hear.

I loved this class. I actively practiced vinyasa and Bikram yoga before pregnancy. I tried this class as I started my seventh month of pregnancy and power prenatal was challenging enough for me at this stage of pregnancy to keep me interested and engaged. I ll definitely take the class again. My only complaint was the music, which did little to add to an otherwise well cued class that reminded me of what my body is still capable of!

Great class! Like the other reviews, I liked that it was challenging while also being a prenatal class, hard to find that combo! My only complaint is that the yoga instructors voice was muted for about half of the class so I had to look up and follow the computer. I m assuming that may have been my computer/connection and not the actual video. I will be using this video throughout my pregnancy.

I thought this video was great. It does provide a decent level of challenge and good, targeted and safe, postures for pregnancy. I m glad I started it before I got too far into my 2nd trimester! My complaint with this video is that the "70 minute class" video is only 65 minutes long - so it only provides 60 minutes of instruction/class time. They should update the listing so that the accurate duration is advertised.

Love this class! I have been doing yoga for many years and was looking for a challenging prenatal yoga-class that was modified for my pregnant body but at the same time gave me a strong workout. This class has both!

Fantastic class!

I ve been searching for a challenging prenatal class...this seemed to fit what I was hoping for. I purchased the 35 minute class and now plan to download the full class version. As an experienced vinyasa student, and yoga teacher myself, I thank you Jennifer for your guidance as I continue my yoga journey throughout pregnancy.

This is a fantastic class for experienced students looking for a real challenge during pregnancy. I am thrilled to have found this! I find that most prenatal classes are much too easy for most of the pregnancy but not this one. Before pregnancy I practiced vinyassa flow classes regularly and this class proved to be a great transition. I was challenged to the point where I needed to take a few extra breaks (perhaps due to taking too many of those easy prenatal classes!). My only negative would be the music. The relaxation ocean sounds are great at the end but through most of the rest it falls short. It s not particularity annoying but I think there could be better choices for an upbeat class.
