Im in my third trimester and this felt more appropriate earlier on in pregnancy. Did not enjoy the stimulating or more high energy background music, as opposed to relaxing music, and the instructor s instructions or voice just felt very aggressive, like he was yelling at me what to do or very firmly and strongly/ loudly telling me what to do. Stopped around 30 min in and switched to another practice.

This is my favourite of the prenatal yoga package. Good workout and clear instructions. It feels like a real power yoga class.

Too many chaturangas and slow head-down poses in the first 25 minutes that I got so dizzy and bored that I stopped midway through. I had a minor diastasis rectus abdominis from my first pregnancy and I think this flow will definitely worsen it. Not likely will repeat this sequence!

Physically, this class was wonderful. Nice and challenging, yet still doable even in the third trimester. However, I really think that, for a prenatal yoga class geared toward PREGNANT women, whether or not it s Baptiste Power Yoga, Farmar yelled too much. I felt like I was at football practice being hollered at by a coach, not being guided through a strong, grounded practice and given the space to root myself.

I am a second trimester yogi and this class was a a good challenging workout with safe adjustments for pregnancy. I will use again.

Farmar rocks--one of the best on this site. I am a Baptiste fan, and now that I m pregnant, I m so happy to have the modifications.

"Open up, say yes to possibility"
I loved the narrative in this class. Hugely empowering and uplifting. Did I hear Dave use the term "metability"? Mmm... Thought provoking indeed.

16 weeks and this was perfect... Not only were instructions easy to follow, but models also showed some modifications that I can use in the future. I would love to take another class with him again sometime. I also am still suffering from some nausea so I had to stop every once in awhile, but nothing too severe and no sudden movements during this practice kept me from doing anything! Thank you for a great practice

Absolutely excellent class! It was refreshing to have this class compared to all the other prenatal yoga options out there. I consider my yoga practice to be pretty advanced and was disheartened with the scaling back that normally takes place with prenatal yoga. I m currently in my third trimester and found this practice was still within my abilities and it was so nice to get some chaturangas in! If you have a more advanced practice and want to continue that throughout your pregnancy- this is the class for you!

Very good class with clear instruction and many options to modify throughout. Definitely not for a beginner yogi but perfect for someone who has a strong vinyasa practice.
