Why the abs and booty? These tend to be particular problem areas for most people, plus having strong abs and a nice booty feels good! While these benefits are real, the other health benefits of a strong core and bum transcend just looks. The glutes (your booty) are the largest muscle in the entire body. With strong glutes, you are stronger all-around, more powerful, and faster. Having a strong core is essential in a healthy, balanced, and stable body. Strengthening your core is incredibly preventive and restorative for injuries (especially back injuries), beneficial to your central nervous system, improves posture, and even protects your organs.

This challenge is a specially curated blend of practices that includes yoga, pilates, barre, and fitness classes, all targeting your abs and booty. You'll see a visible change in 2-weeks. Whether you're an experienced yogi or exerciser, or a beginner and want fitness to be part of your life, this challenge is suitable for you (all levels welcome).

DAY 1: 2 WEEK ABS & BOOTY BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE

Welcome to Day 1 of the 2-Week Abs & Booty Bootcamp Challenge! 

Welcome challengers! Congratulations. By simply showing up on this first day, you have taken the first step towards your goal. 

Ready to get your abs and booty into tip-top shape in two weeks? Simply keep showing up, everyday for the next two weeks. Before you know it, you'll be both feeling and looking better than you ever have before. The important thing is that you keep showing up! Some days it might feel harder than others, but it's supposed to push you outside of your comfort zone. That's the nature of a challenge. While the physical benefits of getting into shape are apparent, the mental benefits are plentiful too. You might find yourself feeling more focused, confident, and happy, while feeling less stressed, as the challenge progresses.

Take a moment to set some personal goals for the challenge. Journaling is always a nice complement to a physical challenge. Write down, why you chose now to challenge yourself and how you want to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally, after these two weeks are over. Also, you are not alone on this endeavor! There are challengers all over the world, embarking on this 2-week bootcamp. Share your experiences and how you're feeling each day in the comments section.

This Pilates-based fusion class focuses on building a strong core and working your booty in a safe but challenging way! Strengthen the hamstring-glute connection which is directly connected to using the deepest core muscle that supports our posture - the Transverse Abdominis. This specific combination will get your booty and body ready for the beach with lots of belly-up core, bridging, side leg work, and planks!
