Mandolinist Butch Baldassari is a winner of the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Best Bluegrass Band Award, founder of the Nashville Mandolin Ensemble, and has appeared on “A Prairie Home Companion,” “CBS This Morning,” CNN and “Riders in the Sky Radio Theatre. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Mandolin at Vanderbilt University’s renowned Blair School of Music.
David Hofner is an Emmy Award-nominated composer, and his music has been heard on Good Morning America, 20/20, Wonderful World of Disney, and many other programs. Two of his orchestral compositions were recorded by the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra,and Hoffner co-wrote and produced “Back Tuva Future”, a collaboration with Tuvan throat-singing master Kongar-ol Ondar, hailed as “One of the top ten CD’s of the Year” by the New York Post.
