Perfection of a yoga class. Amazing! Just what I needed during lockdown :)

This is a challenging class and I enjoyed it for the first 25 minutes or so, but like most reviewers I found the cueing very difficult to understand and follow, and felt I spent too much time looking at the screen to make sure I was doing the right thing. It may improve with repetition, but I have done other similar classes here that I followed right along with. Maybe just not my style!

What an incredible class! I found the cues helpful and unique; they really made me focus and engage in a way I hadn t before. The pace was perfect and the build up was spot on. I super duper loved this class

Loved this class and recommend it if you are looking for a full body workout that will get you nice and sweaty. The beginning felt a little clumsy with the commands and format but very happy I stuck with it through the flow. I added some extra time at the end for a cool down with twists because it did end rather abruptly.

The aspects of this class that I really enjoyed and found helpful were the instructor s verbal coaching and attention to form. It was a little hard to follow the instructor if I wasn t watching the screen, because she did not always name the poses that we were moving to in advance.

This class was a little slow and not really aligned with what I envisioned as part of a yoga for weight loss program. This is more of a beginner class. I took a second 60 minute class after this to make sure I got a solid workout in.

I really enjoyed all the cueing because she had you really think through the psos in a new say. I learned a lot.

I enjoyed the overall idea of this class but I had a hard time with the cueing . The teacher barely uses the poses names, so I ended up looking up at the screen most of the time...

The instructor uses excellent cues and sequencing to build strength in the core and balancing muscles. I hope to take this class again.

What a chatterbox! It really did distract me from being able to do the asanas! Pretty good workout...I completed it, but I will not do it again.

Amazing teacher! I applaud you! The model wasn t so bad either lol! I love utkatasana also, so I really appreciate your instruction in this pose. Also, how you focused on instructing to keep the back knee up and strong leg in crescent and warrior I - finally! I know I will be enjoying balancing poses more now from this fun and challenging class. Thank you and Namaste!

The delivery style felt more like I should be watching the yoga model rather than engaging in practice. That said, it did lead to good balances and I worked a sweat up so a good part of the Yoga for Weight Loss programme.

It was, as others before me have mentioned, very wordy which I normally like but this had a few too many weird terms like "your legs need to know they are a part of your body". Overall though it was a good class and I feel like I had a good workout.

I really enjoyed this class! Her descriptions helped you to get a great workout with minimal movement. I was worried this would be too challenging as I am a little out of practice, but it was a perfect balance between challenge and accessibility!

I won t do this again as I found her constant and convoluted instructions irritating and confusing. The yoga in this video is relatively simple and does not need such overly elaborate directions. Keep the talk simple.

Technically simple, but extremely challenging class. I love the standing and balancing flow, the core integration in the poses, and the instruction. My only complaint is there is very little "cool down." After all those tough standing sequences, my body needed some stretch!

Very wordy. The sequence is good, but too much explanation for an intermediate class in my opinion. I would classify this more of an advanced beginner.

Too much talking I couldn t get into the zone with this one. Instruction is good but maybe should of been called a technique lab class I was expecting something more spiritual. Also the music is shocking. In fact all these videos have the shittest elavator music. There desperately needs to be a NO MUSIC download option on all the videos on this website.
I play my own spiritually in tune music but I have to try and drown it over the video s music without missing the instrutions. PLease NO MUSIC option!

Too many words, lady. Keep it simpler.

Her instruction is terrible. It s a hard class to follow without looking at the screen. The poses themselves are not very difficult. She is simply not a good instructor.

If Shannon talks fast it is because she has a lot to say. What a wealth of knowledge and in depth instruction she passes on! I will be taking this class many times in hope to feel half of what she is encouraging. I think I will also watch this a few times to get a better sense of what she is saying but either way this class is a great workout an a fine exercise in balance.

Excellent class! I have been practicing yoga on-and-off for over ten years, but I think I learned more in this class about how to ground and balance than I ever have before. Luved it!

Wonderful class. Challenging interesting and some different sequences. I feel I m an intermediate and it gave me a good workout. Would take it again and explore her different classes. She cues clearly.

Awesome class. I will take a lot of her cues to my daily practice. Wonderful descriptions on how to engage the core more during practice.

Good, strong, sweaty class. My only critique is that I felt I needed to constantly watch the video as I wasn t always sure what she was doing. It ws a nice practice - I ll do it again. Thank you!!!

easy pace but I think I ll feel it tomorrow!

Perfect class! Easy to follow, but very physically challenging!
By larae | Wednesday, March 26, 2014
A good challenge. First half consists of some empowering methods on poses, and then the rest is taking the knowledge and making a rigorous vinyasa. Focusing on balance and beginning from the foundations--the feet--was very effective. She speaks quickly but it keeps you thinking and working.

Challenging well versed smooth flow. Truly enjoyable... I much prefers rigorous 60 min class which this one is... thank you!

I was a lot steadier at the end of this than I have been, and I worked hard! Great practice.

A nice flow with Shannon s classic focus on alignment cues, many of which are energetic. It s like a yoga clinic built into a very relaxing, centering vinyasa class. She has so many little expressions that I just love: calling the mat a 2x6 laboratory, utkatasana means "electric", the clavicle and heel having a "conversation". These lessons can take one s practice to a whole new level. I really enjoyed this class and feel really good after having done it.
