Way beyond advanced beginner but love Celest s classes. She is so perky and happy, has a great attitude and outlook. Feel good after, although could not do a lot of the poses. But she offers the advanced stuff as modifications so you can do what you can do.

Awesome class first thing in the morning. Slow and deep stretching working up to more challenging postures. I felt like there were many options given for different levels throughout the class.

I need less talking in the morning, and if you aren t able to do advanced poses you sit in spaces too long while she does inversions, didn t feel like much of a flow to me. :(

I didn’t like it very much. Too much talking not enough music and I thought the flow was strange. Not enough initial focus on gently stretching out the body first thing in the morning.

That was a delicious way to begin my day! I love Celeste s soothing voice, her cues and timing and her invitation to just go where your body is able. She provides lots of options for most of the poses, and makes you feel perfect no matter what you are able to accomplish. I will come back to this again and again!

I loved Celeste s stye and energy. For me, though, I will use this for an afternoon pick me up - it s just a little too loud and energetic for my morning yoga! But I ll definitely check out some of her other classes!

I loved this class. I was feeling beat up after a long week of nursing shifts and I wanted to start my day with an energizing class but nothing too overwhelming. This class fit my needs perfectly and there are modifications for all levels. Thanks for another great class Celeste!

Nice sunrise flow with lots of options depending on how you re feeling. I like her pacing and gentle reminders to take care of ourselves. I will be looking for more classes from Celeste

do not attempt unless you are at minimum intermediate. she provides modifications but the most of the time she is doing advanced poses and transitions, and she does not show you how to come out of the modified poses. this is the first yoga routine that left me in pain. i also do not prefer her personality, its positive but too cheesy and hokey for me.

I really enjoyed this yoga routine! I felt like it was perfect for waking up my body in the morning, and it also "flowed" so I didn t get bored. I love have Celeste added in a few challenging moves as well.

This class is an amazing start to the day. It helps loosen up the body and create the energy to face a new day. Celest is a wonderful teacher who mixes positivity and fun with very good instructions about the poses, including alternatives for those who are not as advanced. My favorite instructor so far.

Not giving this a full 4 stars because i think the level is harder than an advanced beginner... Definitely had to go to child s pose or down dog instead of some of the poses, I had never seen before, but overall it doors what it says and energizes you for the day.

I needed just this today! It s slow to start. She allows you to really warm up but as the class progresses, offers options to challenge you. I feel my hips, shoulders, legs and arms stretched out. GREAT way to start the day. She is very perky - much more than I am fully awake but it was nice in this class bc it kept me going.

I love the flow of this class. I have taken many of Celeste s classes. I enjoy her style and light hearted banter that carries me through her class. Great workout as always, I have done many of her classes several times. My favorite is the one for runners!!!

Normally I wouldn t like someone with Celest s energy level - but I actually LOVED her! She was very positive and encouraging. I liked that she offered several variations for the poses. She allowed me to see what I should be striving for. I don t know that I would be able to do this first thing in the morning, personally, but I will be doing this one again!

Tried out "Love Your Alarm Clock" this morning. It was the first Celest class I ve tried and after reading some comments I was unsure what I was getting myself into! I agree Celest is upbeat and peppy, but her style worked for me. The class was a good one - I loved the options to go deeper / be more challenged along the way, and also her encouragement to stay where I wanted. Full lizard and wild thing were great possible additions and the instructions on attempting hand stands, head stands and other balances out of some of the more simple "common" poses was new and appreciated. I m not there yet, but I really like having something to work toward.

Instructor has really good positive energy but i found it hard to focus doing this in the morning. Almost borderline annoying actually. There just too much talking for me. However, that being said, i love that she offers different options/variations as some of the poses were a bit too advanced. I would most likely try this on an afternoon or after work kind of session.

Overall it s a good workout but I sweated more than I namaste d. I would not call this Advanced Beginner. Many of the moves are quite difficult and require way more strength and balance than I currently have. :) I like the instructor s personality, and it did wake me up, I m just not sure that I would look forward to this enough to get me out of bed in the morning.

Enjoyed the energy of the class and the instructor. I felt like every muscle group wakened. Nice intentions for the day which is why I like starting the day with yoga.
Not crazy about advanced poses in the morning. I would do this class again.

Very nice way to warm up the body for the day. The instructor was very perky in her voice (not super common in yoga instructors--not a bad thing--just needed a bit of getting used to), but depending on the mood you are in when you wake up, this could be good or it could be a little annoying. Today, it was fine...I enjoyed the flow and the opening of the shoulders. I would definitely do this class again.

This is a great workout for anyone with tight shoulders. The class was challenging it gave many opportunities for variations based on level. I will definitely go back to this one.

I really enjoy this class. The instructor is really cheerleader-peppy, so you need to be in a good mood for this class. Whenever i m feeling groggy or tired I tend to stay away from this instructor - she would drive me batty on a bad day.
The poses are fun and she offers many variations to accommodate for different levels.

I ve been doing yoga for about 4 months and I have to say this is one of my favorite classes. There are so many variations to every move I think it is perfect for the individual that is moving from beginner to intermediate. Enjoy!

I did this class in the late morning. It might be a bit vigorous for directly out of bed but energized me just before lunch. She puts some challenging poses in there but overall fairly basic. Although I did have to check the video a couple of times to make sure I was doing the right thing. Good class!

A good, hard flow. There are some points during which the flow gets a little stilted, which is a little bit frustrating. Would also have preferred a standing series or floor series, but that s the peril of a 45 minute class, I suppose. Will definitely do this video again, but will also try to find another 60 minute one...

This class has my 2 favorite yoga poses (rock star and lizard) and really made me feel energized for the day. I just wish the instructor spoke a little louder at times because computer speakers aren t the best. :)

What a lovely class to do first thing in the morning. I don t feel the small hops and headstand are challenging, just energizing. If anything I could probably take a bit of sweat in the morning but this was relaxing, invigorating and a great way to start a day where you will have other vigorous activities and don t want to exhaust yourself.

I have mixed feelings about this class. I really liked the instructor s personality and her method of explaining the poses but I felt it was too much for an early morning class...and probably more of an intermediate level. I am sad to say I bailed at the headstand...I m drenched in sweat and any thoughts of a gentle morning awakening are long gone. Any more of this and I m going back to bed! This would be great if you re looking for an energetic full workout start to your morning; not so much if you were hoping to tiptoe into your day...

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. The instructors voice is very peppy for first thing in the am. Also the practice felt a bit aggressive for 6am as well. Crow, donkey kicks,wild thing all in the first 30 minutes didn t feel like advanced beginner, nor did they lend the self to the mission. I would reco for a daytime class and more for intermediates.

A decent class for first thing in the morning. I literally rolled out of bed and started this one so it fulfilled its duty to wake up my stiff sleepy body. She starts off WAY too perky and hyper sounding for first thing in the morning. I d prefer a much more calm and relaxing invitation to waking up (says the grumpy girl in the morning- any other time of day I think her energy would be appreciated).

What a great class for first thing in the morning! It starts slow with stretching and really wakes you up for a gentle morning flow. I was not able to do crow or head stands but the stretch you stay in during those parts were also nice. Celeste is great!

This was a great routine, however I wouldn t classify it as a morning routine. Though Celeste emphasizes that you don t have to do all the poses or can modify, the practice sort of disappears if you can t do the poses. She said it well twice during the class. This is hard for the morning and I haven t given you any breaks . She also speaks through just about the entire class. Some pauses for breath work and meditation would be nice. I do like Celest s energy and playful approach to yoga.
