There's no doubt about it - scorpion pose (Vrschikasana) is a difficult posture to master. Working with this pose takes dedication and practice, as well as the right training to prevent injury. For you yogis who have a strong foundational practice and are determined to conquer this mystifying pose, this class is for you! Shoulder strength is essential and this class focuses on stabilizing the shoulder girdle to prepare for the transition from forearm stand into scorpion. This sequence enables students to learn how to hold the shoulders down and into the lats for stability while opening through the chest at the same time.

Love this flow! Really good whole body workout with sweat. Thanks Channing for the great cues for each pose. I found those cues are really helpful. Will. Definitely come back again.
Great class for reaching scorpion. Good cueing, nice flow and instruction that prepares you to reach the peak pose while being fun and interesting. I haven t tried this pose in years as I always found it intimidating. I stopped the video at the last scorpion and was able to hold the pose. Thanks Channing!
That was a great class. Like other reviewers said, great pace, challenging but not out of control, great sequence to lead up to the peak pose. Scorpion has been my goal pose for some time but it has been intimidating to me. This class got me up into forearm stand (and out of my mental babble of scaredy-cat fear) and I got into Scorpion for a second but hey, that s enough encouragement to get into it again next time. Thanks for this class! Fun!
Enjoyed the flow leading up to the peak pose. The pace of the video and instruction was pretty steady, allowing to build strength in the poses; I never felt rushed through any of the sequencing.
Great for overall body strength! This class hit the legs, back, and arms. I used a wall during Scorpion as I am not fully able to push up into the full pose yet. This class got my sweating! And the length was perfect - never felt rushed.
