Challenging and felt great on my body. I really worked up a sweat and definitely couldn’t do some of the peak poses. I love standing poses.

Word of caution. The side bend tip over thing at the beginning really tweaked my knees, and I don t typically have knee problems. I ended up skipping the second round of that and just focused on side bending.
Also, moving from a twisted standing figure four directly to tree angered my lower back which had already been angered from the one handed, down dog kick. Again, I modified the second time around so that my lower back was less twisted and more supported.
That said, I have never moved from crow to chaturunga so gracefully, so that cue alone (bending your arms deeper) made it worth doing this flow. (Got it an extra star.)

I am adding this one to my favorites! Such a full and challenging experience for such a short class. Lots of excellent core challenges and flying poses, including flying sage. An all around great opener-strengthener! The cool down with bridge, pigeon, and twitsts are perfect. Love this class!

Fun and tough. Great balancing class. Even though it was challenging, I actually felt more balanced in some of the asana than I normally feel. I love this instructor!

I was missing a proper warm-up before going in all those challenging asanas.

really enjoy the focus on just the balancing. I am sorely lacking in the ability to "float" through the poses as opposed to just "kicking" my way through them!

Great class as always from Channing...I love her low key cueing style...it helps me relax even in tough poses. I always feel so light after her classes!

i love that they chose a student who is wobbly and represents most of the population. Usually when I watch yoga videos, the students are always already in correct alignment and form but watching a "normal" student really helps me as a teacher to look out what to watch for. Also, he s really good at floating to the top/chatturanga!! Way to go!!! =)

Hands down, the most creative balance class I ve taken. My only sadness is that I won t have the same element of surprise the next time around! As all of Channing s classes, this is creative, balanced, and includes both elements I can complete with ease, and those that require more concentration. I d say this is the most fun and innovative balancing class on the site.

Channing is one of the finest, most-evolved teachers i ve ever had the pleasure of practicing with. Her calm, gentle and not-too-wordy cues help you to lean into a posture rather than try to conquer it. She helps me to find space on every level.

What a fun balance class! I really enjoyed it. It was challenging in parts, but not overly so. I consider myself relatively advanced and I felt this was a good mix of balance poses for a variety of levels.
