Nice class for a rest day. Not much of a workout.

This is great to practice Ashtanga when I don t have 120 minutes for a full practice. I still feel good. Thank you.

First time doing Ashtanga with yoga download. Very clear cueing. I m amazed how basic steps and series are so strengthening and toning and I loved the stretching at the end. Excellent class!

Took this first thing in the morning. Totally invigorating. The instructor gave great cues and plenty of alternative poses. He seemed very experienced.

My go-to, thorough, back to ashtanga short form practice. Instructor give just the right amount of cues and silence. Flows beautifully.

Perfect pace with good tips on posture and alignment. No chakra talk, no music, just calm and clear instruction. Perfect.

I really like this class. It is a shorter version of the entire primary series. Alik has a great approach. His cuing is clear and succinct without a lot of extraneous overly impressionistic babble that some instructors like to indulge in. I d like more classes with him.

Solid class. Alik is a great instructor. Complete cues, no extraneous talk, no annoying background music. Peaceful and energising. Thank you Alik!

I practiced Ashtanga lovingly for about 5 years before having to pull back due to injuries. After a long period of rehab, I want to get back in the practice. This is a wonderful modified primary series with good instruction for beginners and appropriate level of challenge for experienced Ashtanga practitioners who want a shorter practice. A number of the primary series postures are eliminated for brevity, such as the revolved triangle and warrior, and a lot of the seated postures, but it easy enough to pause the video and add these in if you are familiar with the practice.
Thank you, Alik, for a beautiful practice. It is good to be back.

Having practised many complete primary series classes over the years, but recovering from a shoulder injury meant I haven t been brave enough to try ashtanga until today. This was a great class and good mix of poses. It s a good length to get a daily dose of ashtanga without having to spend the full 90mins.

I m always very reluctant to try Ashtanga classes. I m fairly fit and have been practicing yoga for years but so many of the seated postures are so contortionist that I m unable to do them. This class is very beginner friendly and does some Sun As and Bs, many of the standing postures and some of the more simple seated poses. It also includes backbending and shoulder stand. This is a nice practice to do if you don t have a full 60 or 90 minutes to devote to working out and it s very accessible to all levels. I really like Alik s no nonsense approach.

A good back to basics class in a short timeframe. I really enjoyed the instruction: clear, concise, and at a good pace, although some of the vinyasas were a teeny bit rushed. I will be coming back to this class on days I m craving no frills. Thank you!
