This dynamic, vigorous, and creative vinyasa flow is designed to prepare you for deep twists in arm-balances and inversions. The relationship between your shoulders and hips in twisted poses is key. This class starts with hip openers, supine twists, and core strengthening in preparation for Revolved Extended Side Angle, Revolved Triangle pose, and into arm balances such as Eka Pada Koundinyasana I (the arm balance to the sage Koundiny). We'll also move through some neck releases and shoulder openers. Use this practice to open your hips, find more freedom in your thoracic spine, and build your courage and confidence to come into twisted arm balances.

great
I agree that too many instructions can become a bit annoying because they distract you from your moment since you have to be paying close attention to her voice. I find that the rest of the instructors in yoga download keep a fair amount of instructions in order to not take us out of our inner flow. I could have enjoyed the class a bit more if it wasn´t for this. Also I was looking for a ahhh! class to wind down and stretch but instead I found a "you´ll feel it " class. I advice you to keep attention in how you label the classes.
I really liked the variation and different approach. When you get to the more difficult poses the speed might a little fast. I found the voice instruction to be challenging and distracting at times. I believe when I do this class again I will be better at it, as I may not have to pay such close attention to her instruction. All that said, the poses were great and actually I really liked what she was saying. Bottomline: this one is going in my library.
I love Angie s challenging, yet playful and creative sequences. And her ab series in the beginning of this..dang..I am feeling them this morning.
Nice class, but it s more like "you ll feel it" than everyday namaste... I sweat more than I intended, and discovered a dynamic challenging class!
A great, challenging, creative flow with some really excellent variations. I found the instruction to be confusing at times, but mostly distracting. I would very respectfully suggest that not so much instruction and talking is needed in future classes, it tended to keep me from being in the flow, and made me anxious.
