Woke up with a pretty bad headache today and this practice was wonderful!! Headache is gone I feel so much better. Thank you so much for this practice!

This class was wonderful! It involved some lunges, which got into my hips as an added benefit, and twists as well. The Spotify playlist said it wasn t available so I clicked onto another playlist made by Patrick. Clear cues, perfect poses.

A good class within the reach of every person. I hope I do not offend the facilitator, but his body is closer to what we all have, people in normal life. When I sometimes see facilitators with a slim and perfect body, it seems unreachable.
But this class not. It seems simple, but bit by bit the teacher brings you in positions you normaly do not go. And you feel it. And enjoy it afterwards. I am Especially gratefull for the last two poses, the one with the inclined block under the head and the one with the nicely prepared blanket.

Such a great class. I have been doing it once a week or so for months now. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and always turn to this one when it has given me a headache that nothing else will help. There are also techniques in it that I love using as tools outside of the class (like the block massage, so good). Sometimes if my pain is more acute I change the downward dogs to puppy poses and the lunges to seated or pigeon pose to make it even more restorative. Thank you Patrick for such a lovely class.

As someone who has constant upper back, shoulder, and neck pain, I ve tried pretty much all of the classes directed at these areas. This one is definitely one of the best. Love the block massage toward the end.

Very good class. I have a persistent neck and shoulder issue, so I have done basically every class on that topic on all streaming services. This is definitely one of the more interesting and unique sequences and that s a good thing. Anyone, including me can sequence the usual basic neck and should poses that are "recommended" everywhere. This class is valuable due to the poses targeting deep into the pain and his excellent description of moving and adjusting the pose the get just the right spot. A fantastic teacher.

Oh my. This sure was Neck Nirvana. It got the spots not only in my neck but also the shoulders.
I had some nerve pain that caused a migraine. This definitely helped. I will favorite this and repeat.

Lovely, relaxing class with nice slow stretches for sore neck, upper back and headache. My headache was 80% relieved after this class.

Bliss out?! You bet! The block at the base of my skull was the most pleasant discomfort I have ever felt. I had one of those curl up in the foetus position and cry headaches behind my eye when I began this practice. By the end of practice, Shazam! It had disappeared. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I did this in the evening, my upper back and neck were very stiff. The sequence was calming and very effective in releasing tension. Expect neck adjustments on twists and a final variation on corpse pose. Perfect before going to sleep and when feeling tired and overwhelmed.

This class was awesome. I started the class with a headache and started to stop and take some aspirin. I challenged myself to push through the class and not take any meds. By the time I was done with the class, my headache was gone. This is definitely a class that I have saved as my favorite.

Thank you for this Yoga class. I am very new to yoga, and this is my first venture beyond beginners Hatha. I truly enjoyed the class. I have always carried a lot of stress and tension in my neck and this class really loosened me up. I may not be able to totally get into or stay into all the poses, but I could feel the benefit after the first class. Also, Patrick Montgomery was great. This yoga novice was able to follow along with ease.

This is a great class for people with stiff necks and shoulders. It s slow and gentle, but it includes several lunges, so you feel like your lower body is getting some good attention as well. Patrick s voice is very soothing, and his cueing is excellent. I got some new ideas about how to feel the poses, and even a few new twists on existing poses. I also like that it doesn t have a music soundtrack included. Oh, and my neck feels great!

My neck was feeling sore from using the computer and smartphone too much this week. This practice was relaxing and very effective in loosening up my neck. I feel much better!
It s uncomfortable for me to sit back on my heels, so I sat crosslegged during those poses instead and it worked well for me.
Thank you for this wonderful class. I will use it regularly.
