Really enjoyed this class. Packed a lot into a short amount of time but didn’t feel rushed. Now I need to figure out why I always get cramp in my hamstring when I reach around to grab my other foot in lunge ??

Open Your Heart to Gratitude was a lovely blend of calm and challenge. (That ardha chandrasana, though! Whew!) I left feeling a noticeable decrease in upper back tension and a renewed sense of gratitude. Thank you, Elise!

Have done this class before and had in favorites, but don t think I ever did a public review. This was part of the 2wk Grounding and Gratitude Challenge. Excellent class, great heart openers, had to modify a few things because of a bad shoulder but overall feel great.

I don t like back bend, but this soft gentle practice make it accessible for me. Feeling gratitude or finding gratitude is also great to start my day. This class is gentle, soft, and slow, perfect for where I am now. Thank you.

Loved this class. The shoulder work with strap was a super addition to the flow. Really appreciated the cuing about how to open up the hips for maximum effect in poses. Thank you.

Wow, I don t often do hatha flows (I like to flow and sweat, typically) but this practice was wonderful. I didn t have a strap (I m flowing in the basement to keep a very naughty kitten company), so I just pretended I had one for the shoulder work and it still felt great. LOVED the eagle arm stretch (it felt so good) and the three backbends at the end of class. Thanks to those, I found my second wind for the afternoon.

This was a much needed class. I did a chest and tricep workout earlier in the day, so this really loosened everything up. Also, I kept thinking of things for which I was grateful during the final bridge sequence. Thanks for all the great reminders, Elise!

This was a great class that managed to get a lot in in 30 minutes while not at all feeling rushed. Well paced and well thought out. I will definitely be doing this one again when I don t have time to do a longer class!

I am grateful for Elise this morning and many mornings. She is just right for me. Instructions are clear, she isn t preachy like too many are, yet still has a message, gently conveyed. I love all of her classes. This is my only review in 18 months of biweekly yogadownloads. Enough said.

Thanks Elise! This class is clear and easy to follow. I found it to be both challenging and restorative at the same time. I tend to feel a lot of stickiness in my shoulders, upper back, and shoulder blades. These areas feel open and rested after this class!

Thank you for this class. I really loved it, and the length was perfect. I was slowly morphing into my mom and grandmother with their hunchy shoulders. Surprisingly, after doing this class just once (in a addition to having done a few consecutive days of another gentle yoga class), I feel as though my shoulders have nearly reset into proper alignment; I barely see/feel the rounded forward curve from years of slouchy sitting!
I ve practiced yoga here-and-there for over 15 years, but I never developed a consistent practice. I m finally listening to my body s yearning to stretch and breeeeath, and I m pleased to now crave it when I wake up in the morning. I ve decided to keep things simple (so as not to overwhelm myself and eventually give up on a yoga practice), so I m starting, specifically, with your videos -- I find your instruction to be clear, gentle, smart, and creative. (And, I must add, I don t find you irritating in any way, LOL. I can t say the same for all instructors!) I look forward to trying out your chakra series.
P.S. - This is my very first review on Yoga Download (after having been a subscriber for about eight months and previewing a bunch of classes). Please take it as an indicator of how impressed I am by this class and your instruction in general. Thank you, Elise :)
