The jump into Nadi shoshona breathing in the beginning for long 5 counts was a bit challenging depending on where you are arriving on your mat from, and it actually caused some anxiety, Once you get about 15 minutes in or so, class and sequencing is enjoyable and a wise, fun flow.

Interesting some poses. Is much more a fitness session.
I m very sorry for the low rate of review, I would have give more.
I m a quite advanced practitioner, and I don t gave up, and went until the end.
But all is done in a rush.
Impossible to deepen the poses and feel the usefulness (body-mindly).
The indication about how to use it from alchemy, overcome fears, use it in your life, are just a list of information to fill the practice of some kind of reflection, but not are that related to the practice or have a resonance with the poses.
There s no need to do so much if it does mean to keep on the surface.
If you like fitness, is a good class.

Mark is one of my favorite instructors. I ve forgotten how much I liked this class. So nice to have the challenge right now leading me to different classes.

ONE OF THE BEST CLASSES I HAVE ATTENDED IN YEARS! Hands down! This class had it all---from the meditation, self-awareness aspect to the "fiery" leg workout. Thank you so very much! And I loved the spotify playlist to go withit. I will use that playlist frequently. Wonderful! Alchemy--complete!

I absolutely love Mark s classes, and this one did not disappoint. I especially appreciated the reminders to surrender throughout the practice simply by flipping the palms up - it really connected my intention from start to finish. It was a great way to soften my heart even though my body was working *very* hard. Thanks again, Mark, for all of your classes!

Amazingly energising class, a gentle but firm invitation to look within and transform the negative into positive. The Savasana without music was the only reason why I didn t give it a 5 star. Namaste Mark.

Class fits the description accurately. I appreciated the talk therapy as much as the body therapy here. As someone who has lived with anxiety most of my life, new ways of looking at it and accepting it are welcome. Also, the physical work was what I was looking for today, bits of challenge and lots of good movement and stretching, along with breath work. All in all a total package class. Thank you.

Loving this method of taking Mark s classes! Mark is easy to follow and has a way of helping me find what I need out of the practice. Studio yoga left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I ve been neglecting my asana practice for a time... this is the perfect way to fall in love with it again. :)

Mark, your my new go-to guy! I absolutely loved this class, as it challenged every single part of my body and mind. From the beginning, I felt engaged and supported by Mark s direction, trusting both him and myself to gracefully sustain some of the more heated poses. I feel so much lighter, so much centered, yet so much stronger - all the weight of the week just rinsed away. The diversity and fluidity of this class also kept me really focused, as each part of my body worked together, giving me a total body experience, and taking my mind and placing it where it needed to be, right in the present. I followed Mark Morford to yogadownload after reading his column for over 15 years and contemplating crossing the bridge to find one of his live classes. This one is definitely a keeper, in this time of extreme political stress and fear. The concept of alchemizing our anxiety into something good, something positive...Yes! What an intention for my day. It was one of the best classes I ve done on YD since I started my membership a couple months ago.

I really enjoyed this class. It had a unique, unexpected flow that went by very fast. Some challenges, but not so much that I ditched it like I thought I would going in.

Thank you Mark and Yoga Download for creating a class which addresses the fears and anxieties that so many of us are experiencing in this intense transition. My friends, family and I, and so many others, have had to work through so much anxiety in fear since November, it s helpful to have a class aimed squarely at this. More please! Excellent class! This is my first class with this instructor and I loved it. I am more of an advanced beginner but I could easily make adjustments without disrupting the flow. The cueing was perfect. Stretching, balancing, twisting and strength moves.
I felt like I was taking a class about yoga and how to refocus thoughts while doing yoga. Our thoughts can lift us up or drain us. We choose. I can t hear this message enough.

I chose this class because I was having an emotional morning and read the description of the class. It was perfect; it is a challenging strength class and I was shaking all the way through it. But at the end I felt emotions in a much more positive energy to carry on with my day.
