Thought would more focus on shoulders but found it to be general focus flow. Verbal cues not great, sound quality not great so had keep checking visually that was distracting. Felt transitions very awkward not many modifications or variations and sure misnamed few asana so that put me off as had to look up what supposed to do.
Barely focused on shoulders, poor cues for advanced poses, and weird transitions I quit after 25 minutes and not breaking a sweat at all.
Very good class! I think the name was a bit misleading as the class is a good flow for hips, hamstrings AND shoulders. At first I almost didn t do it because I thought it would be all shoulder work, which it s not. Some challenging flows and definitely advanced intermediate. My only critique would be that during some of the flows like the bridge/wheel to boat, I would have liked to have held each one for 4-5 breaths to really feel the pose rather than move through it quickly. But for a 45 minute class, one my favorites in a while.
Good strong practice with great cuing as is typical with Channing. I feel the consciousness developing around my shoulder blades and the length in my neck. Thank you. A lot of movement between postures that were unusual and felt awkward sometimes, but isnt that yoga! move in a way to get you out of your comfort zone. sometimes skipped some of those transitions though for longer holds in boat or in wheel. Thanks for the practice. I got sweaty but only a little dripping.
