Great class. I love Hotha Yoga. This class is slow and stay longer in every pose so that it makes the pose challenging. Stretching and twisting make me feel good, and there are balancing poses too. I feel very good and grounded. Thank you.

Practicing yoga with sciatica is a very humbling experience. My body needs to hold, adjust and move slower. This class provided movement that I feel is beneficial.

I enjoyed this class, although there were a few times I had to stop and get into child pose, It was a little challenging for me with fibromyalgia and shoulder pain. However, Jackie s prompts to ease off and relax this part or that part, really helped me. I felt stretched all over.

I did this class about 7pm last night and I slept really well. It is slower paced and really heats up the muscles which allows time for the knots to unwind and relax. Jackie is one of my favorite instructors and I will be adding this class to my favorites.

A nice slow paced class that is good for all levels. Jackie is very aware of what students may be feeling throughout the class and gives helpful tips on how to modify poses if needed.

Realizing just how much I have lost as far as ability to move. This is gentle, slow, easy movement class, but I couldn t do it. Got about half way through before I had to stop as I couldn t get my breath and was feeling very nauseous.

LOVED this slow, gentle but extremely strong class. Jackie s voice is wonderfully soothing and the cues are great. Expect to perform all your favourite poses and hold them for longer than in a flow so you get a good workout.

Another wonderful class. A slower class does not always mean easier. Longer holds bring their own challenges but they are encouraged to be without tension , which was a fantastic reminder.
And that wonderful reassuring and calming voice is always a joy.

Jackie is my new favorite teacher. This class a beautiful texture. I am recovering from a back surgery and her classes feel both safe and healing. This class opens up all the places that have been closed up for so long. I highly recommend this class to anyone, any level, at any stage in their practice.

This is a beautiful class that is perfectly paced to hole poses a bit and let your muscles ease into it. Challenging, but doable at any level. I did it with a beginner and we both did fine. Highly recommend this and Jackie is an excellent teacher.

Wow! What an excellent class. Jackie always has great classes so this was no exception. It hovers between level 2-3 intensity depending on where you re in the class. I did feel my back release into a wonderful feeling of length about halfway through. Just terrific!

I got a crappy nights sleep last night and needed something that wouldn t stress me out. It was the right amount of challenging but not too fast or active. I felt hot but not sweaty.

I ve been doing YDL for 18 days straight now and this is the first class I ve reviewed. It s exactly what I m looking for as someone who was very experienced in yoga, coming back into after a long break. Easy instructions, clear prompts, 10/10. I will be taking more of her classes!

She is always amazing. Was able to do with earbuds and no problem following. Some chair, warriors, twists, stretching, tree and ballerina. Great balance with some warming poses but nothing too strenuous. Thank you!

I have been sick for the past week+ (started w/flu and allergies, then straight to my sinuses). I have been practicing simple poses to help clear congestion and ease my very tight and achy muscles, but today was the first time I wanted something more - nothing fast and hard. Even this class s description made me a bit uneasy, but I did it anyways and I am so glad I did. My muscles in particular eased up their aches and let go of all the tension they d beennhilding. Another surprising result was my "off kilter" feeling (I swear I was leaning left) disappeared after the balancing poses, which I expected tonstrufgle the hardest with, but were really not a struggle at all (I d almost say I had an easier time compared to days I feel "stable"). My sinus prrssurr cleared and stayed clear for most of the day after this class. I felt completely calm and blissful after this class. I think one of the reviewers said it was an "ahhhhhhmazing" class and I think that is the perfect description.

I loved this class! It really helped me relax and stretch out. I loved what Jackie said, that postures should be "effort without tension" which really stuck with me throughout the class.

I really enjoyed this practice today. It s been a while since I did this style of yoga and had forgotten how hard it can be to hold poses that bit longer. So yes it was slow and steady but my body feels worked and toned. Thank you.

This class is exactly as described. I am an intermediate-level practitioner, and tend to enjoy flow classes, but was attracted by the slow and steady approach for this class to wrap up from a stressful workday. The longer holds left me feeling like I had a good workout, and Jackie s always lovely voice and excellent cues made for a great experience.
