Very soothing, with a nice long savasana. I loved the pull-up bar image. Really helped me find expansion in my chest and strength in my back.

Elise is one of my favorite teachers. This is the first time I have done this class, as my lower back issues are relatively new. The class was excellent. It moved slowly enough and gave adjustment advice that was most helpful.

Elise, thank you so much! I developed debilitating lower back pain, think I have had herniated / bulging disc for 5yrs but GP had not been v helpful & gave varying misdiagnoses. Well... during lock down, working from home, my pain became chronic & unmanageable. I knew I needed to return to yoga but not able to get back in to previous practice. I have been doing this class daily for 2 months now, have now been able to add some other classes after this one & can practice 1.5-2hrs. I will continue to practice this forever. Thank you. I have been having back spasms for a couple of weeks. I have been checking out all of the practices for back pain and YD has not failed me. Today, I tried Elise’s class which was perfectly guided. The stretches and gentle movement got me off the mat feeling better. This will definitely go in my “back’s out” rotation.

First day of trying to help a very sore back. Elise s voice is gentle, effective, descriptive enough to follow without having to look at my screen. It would be helpful to have some guidance in adjusting the locust pose for a beginner. I realize I need to do something at least once a day, so I will be back for this class!

Nice slow easy class. I don’t have back pain but it was great for my sore hamstrings. Maybe I missed it, but it would have been nice to gather my block, strap, and bolster before the class started.

I usually really like Elise for the slower Hatha s when I am in pain but have to say this is not one of her better ones. She has several others for back pain that I will go to before this, and actually did go to after doing this. I have been coughing for over a week and my back is hurting so much I really needed the release, The play list is really great though.
