Slow and grounded, a little bit Yin like Yoga practice. This class is focusing on hip, so there is no standing pose,side bend, or forward bend. Very relaxing and mindful. Thank you.

Jackie is a great instructor that provides clear instructions and modifications for people who can t get into the poses .I also like the reminders to stay present and into your body instead of letting your mind wander. This class helps loosen things up since I sit way too much. Feel so good after doing this class

This is my #1 YDL go-to class - I do this class 5 times a week at least! I have a touchy low back and this class, a good core workout, and Alanna Kaivalya s "Reset the Sacrum" class are magic for me. I do the class after I workout at home to stretch and cool down. I do the class both before and after my road bike rides or before a long car ride. A funny, unexpected benefit is that self-pedicures are noticeably easier for me (my foot comes a lot closer to my face than it use to). This class is slightly out of reach for my super inflexible husband to really enjoy, but we LOVE Jackie s Daily Decompression together in the evening. Perfect for both of us. It is important to me the instructor s voice is soothing and they don t talk too much or to fast.. Jackie s got this dialed. Thank you, Jackie for making such great yoga classes! We love you!

I m in my third trimester of pregnancy and was able to modify this to work with my big belly! My hips have been killing me recently, but this has actually helped so much that my even my back suddenly feels great!

Amazing. I ve been struggling lately to get back into classes and lasting for a full class - even a short one. When this one ended I was so surprised half an hour was up already. I really enjoyed it and found the stretches on my hips challenging but worthwhile. I think the props really help so you are encouraged to find the point that works instead of trying to meet something you re not ready for yet.

Liked it. As others have said, it s great to have good short class choices. This is a nice one for winding down at the end of the day and for when your hips are tight and sore. As with all of Jackie s classes, the cuing is so clear that you hardly need the video, which I love.
I m only giving it 4.5 stars because there are some other classes from Jackie and other instructors that I like even better, but it s a good one. Recommended.

I absolutely love Jackie and love this class. I have severe knee problems, especially my right knee, which causes me to rely on my left side when standing or walking (which I can t do for very long). This has caused so much imbalance in my entire body, and SO much pain and tightness in my hips and lower back problems as well. This class has helped me effectively stretch and release all the crap in my hips, lower back, and even some in my knees. This doesn t fix my problems because as soon as I stand or walk for 15+ minutes, it starts again. But at least I have this class to help me loosen back up, which I have to do daily. It took about 3 times doing the class to be able to do some of the poses because of pain and tightness, but I can do almost all of it now and am SO grateful! Thank you Jackie!
