I enjoyed the stretches, but way too much talking. There was no structure or flow too the class, but there was talking. Lots and lots of talking. Maybe I had the wrong expectations, but not my favorite class.

I’m glad I found this class. It seems like after I turned 50, everything started falling apart. I find myself getting injured very easily (especially around the neck). I’ve tried strength training with very light weights and I still end up hurting myself.
What surprised me here is how strong I really am when I do the exercises correctly. I was even able to pull off a few pushups.
I currently have a neck injury so I’m taking it easy. However, I will definitely return to keep building strength.
Thank you!

I absolutely love Deserrie’s videos! Such precise cueing and her voice is so soothing while working through difficult postures. Great class!!

I enjoyed the stretching of the hands and wrists at the beginning of practice. Her instruction of how to do some of the different poses was helpful. Thank you!

I really needed a class like this to help strengthen. My upper body in general is lacking in strength. I ve downloaded this to add to my regular practice. Thanks for breaking down wheel the way you have. It is a goal of mine, even if a ways off.

I love Desiree s classes because I really enjoy learning ways to align and strengthen my body for proper practice. And because I know she s right: I DO need to be stronger. I really enjoyed the wrist stretches and the lengthening work on my arms and shoulders. I had to skip the push-ups, I don t have the upper body strength... YET. Thank you, Desiree, for giving me something to work towards!

Great class. I like that you provide options for more experienced folks as well as for those of us just getting back into yoga. This class makes me want to come back!

Desiree’s classes add a new layer to my practice. While the ones I’ve taken aren’t traditional flow and wouldn’t be my choice every day, the careful and subtle alignment shifts she cues infuse my day to day flow practice and help me take better care of my body. The rounded upper back in a push up makes that exercise a whole different thing and takes the work out of my arms and puts it in my whole core body where it belongs. I found her knees class really has changed my alignment in warriors, too. Glad there are these tutorial therapeutic classes available. I just wish the camera got a little closer sometimes to show the subtle differences she describes .

Wow, now I know how really weak my upper body is! Great class until Desiree got to Wheel. Ugh! Not that I didn t try it but that is such a hard move for me. Practice makes perfect however, right? I m downloading this class to keep doing it more often! Thanks!

I have recently noticed that I favor one side in downward dog. This class showed me how to work on strengthening my upper body, and I expect I will return to it many times!

I enjoyed this class and Desiree s low-key manner. It is definitely focused on strengthening the shoulders, arms, etc. But I need that! I will return to it.

I usually pick a vinyasa flow but glad I decided on this. The instruction is great right down to savasana. Was wondering how this was going to be in the “you’ll feel it” lane. I’m shaking, so guess I felt it!

I am glad I found this class. I experienced impingement in my left rotator cuff 3 weeks ago and am starting to get back into yoga now. This class was perfect for exercising my rotator cuff. The stretches in the beginning of the class and what came after did the RC a world of good. Thank you, Desiree! I will definitely do this class again soon.

Denisse is quickly becoming my favorite instructor for restorative type yoga. Came to class with a headache and shoulder pain and I m not feeling either.

After i stretched my back and chest, this was a welcome addition to add strength into my back integrating chest, shoulders, and back into a health posture.

A fine teaching video. A greater insight into some basic poses is offered. I was able to sustain a wheel pose for the first time via greater integration of the legs.
