I have been revisiting this regularly as a warm up for higher-intensity practices & activities, highly recommend for that.
Over the last couple weeks, I have suffered ill health that s kept me mostly inactive, and this practice, one of the few possible for me now, has helped me re-equilibrate.
So grateful!

This class is very different a typical yoga class. There is no bend or stretch either. Focusing on joints and rotating all joints are something I rarely do, so this easy practice is great for my old body. Thank you.

Wasn’t sure about this class (definitely not traditional Yoga) but worked myself into it. Definitely loved the ‘bone energizing’. Felt great afterwards .

Not traditional yoga poses or at all what I expected, but it felt good. I typically do things like in this class prior to running and before a workout to loosen up and get my body awake and ready. I did it today because I work up with a stiff neck and back. I feel a little better and less grumpy.

Glad others seem to like this but it s not my cup of tea. The body slapping did not feel good - I know everyone is different so I m sure it s great for some individuals. The progression also felt really boring/repetitive and the actions did not feel particularly either soothing or energizing. Caution for those who may be prone to vertigo: avoid the "around the world" neck rolls.

Awesome. Warmed up/rolled out joints and woke up the body.
Mostly standing until the very end, sitting for a few.
Especially great before or after other exercise sessions and waking up. Loved the pace, Shy s voice and instruction. Thanks.

Very different class. I enjoyed it! Circling several body parts to warm them up, with some balancing. Continual focus on the breath. Tapping to increase chi in the body. Great practice. Thank you Shy!

That was SOooo good. I feel real benefit from that lovely loosen up and self love practice. It s great as a warm up - I m about to do some taiko drumming but I can also see it as a super cool down and as a beautiful short practice if I m feeling sluggish or down. I really like the way that although each movement focused on one body part Shy kept reminding about how other body parts should be behaving and what the breath should be doing. Thank you Shy.

Not a tradition yoga class but....Fun! A good one to loosen all the joints and practice balance. Some good qi gong in there as well.

This class does exactly what it says. It is a perfect warm up or cool down. The instruction is easy to follow; very calming.
