Beautiful class. I was skeptical that I would be able to keep up without a video, however it was easy as the poses were explained incredibly well. Wonderful and relaxing.
I am giving a 4-star rating because the class itself is not bad; however, the editing of the 30-minute version is faulty: an entire triangle pose (long hold in the case of this class) is skipped. YogaDownload, if you spend the time re-editing this class, please go ahead and get rid of the annoying music as well. Thank you!
I always love Dawnelle s classes. She allows you to breathe into each pose while strengthening each muscle. Plus, Dawnelle s voice is wonderful and mesmerizing!
Great class. Dawnelle is awesome, as always.
I thought the flow of the class was fine (on the slower side though), but Dawnelle seemed to talk a lot. It was a little distracting during dancer and half moon. She even talked during the first half of savasana. I made it through the whole 45 min class, but there were several points where I just wanted to mute her. Dawnelle does have a lot of good classes here, but this class is on a different wavelength.
Not a vinyasa flow style class. Long holds listening to Dawnelle talk. I was disappointed. I did 18 min of the 30 min class before I gave up. Dawnelle has great classes out there (lunchtime flow, power flows). This class was not one of them.
Really enjoyed this class. Did the 30 min version two days in a row so on day 2 I could get a better sense of the sequence of the postures once I had adapated the length of the holds to suit my own ability. The flow uses very familiar postures but the focus on heart opening and muscle activity adds a different flavour which encourages fresh interaction with each posture and really keeps the mind present throughout.
