Good class. Excellent guidance and explanations without excess talk or pauses. I lasted only through minute 38 my first time. I hope to build endurance during the winter months.

I have done this class several times and this is my second time doing the Ashtanga program. Alik is great. Very clear instruction, not excess talk. Its a great shorter version of the full series which even experienced practitioners may enjoy if you are short for time.
Highly recommend and will be back.

I enjoy the orderliness of Ashtanga and I loved this class. Definitely adding to my favorites.

Just brilliant. About the breath counts being too quick I think it is actually clever because some practitioners get into poses quickee than others and tend to hold for their individual 5 counts...

Super clear and precise, good pace, quick breathing but its a shortened flow so it should be. Loved it!

I enjoyed this class as I was looking for a quick 1 hour practice. I usually practice ashtanga, so I found his breath count a little fast and 3 breaths not long enough.. however quite detailed instructions are given before the count begins in each pose so there was adequate time. I actually ended up doing my own practice (ashtanga to my own breath count) with the video running in the background and it worked out perfectly - got all my postures in and we merged at navasana. It is a great class for beginners or new to ashtanga with detailed variations

Good class! Thorough explanations. Good pace. I personally don t like doing vinyasa after vinyasa, but one can always skip...

This was my first video since subscribing this week with a Living Social deal and it was wonderful. Very easy to follow and great modifications.

I really enjoyed this class. I found it quite challenging with the vinyasa flows in between the sitting down postures. Some poses were too hard with my bad knees, but over time with practice all poses should be accessible. The direction is really good throughout and the class is quite classic, although shortened and modified, from the full Ashtanga series.

I ve never done this kind of yoga before, and I found the instructions very easy to follow. So glad I got to experience this!

Really like this shortened version of the Ashtanga series. Will definitely do it again.

I like be this shortened version! It was still challenging, but not impossible like a few of the full version poses are for me. Great length and very clear instruction, this is the type of class I would like to do daily.

Great - calm voice giving precise instructions with various options according to need. Two instructors also show the easier and more advanced versinons respectively. Perfect!

Really love this class. Excellent clear instructions and a very calming voice (which was a blessed relief after downloading another session where the chatter was constant...).

This class delivers -- it s a shorter but complete version of the longer series, which for me is all about building strength and calm through a prescribed set of poses. While obviously not as challenging as the full version, I feel like I ve gotten a proper workout and my mind is clearer than it has been in days. I m looking forward to trying the two-hour class.
In sum, I recommend this to people curious about Ashtanga and those who, like myself, know it but aren t going for the two hours yet.

A nice class - very clear instructions. I agree the poses seem a bit rushed at just 3 breaths but good if you don t have time for the full 2 hour class.

I liked this class very much, it s a nice "condensed" version of Ashtanga. I only think it s too short to hold a posture for 3 breaths only. 5 breaths are better as otherwise I feel like I am having to rush so I rather do less poses but hold each one longer. Maybe you can upload a class that takes this into account :-)

this is a good quick version but i did not even get remotely sweaty, i will try the full length version next time. The instruction is fantastic. I have done Ashtanga before, but not in a while, and i could follow the postures just from his words. Please do more Ashtanga class versions with faster pace for a more thorough workout.
