Good class, thorough cues, HOWEVER, mislabeled. Level is Advanced Beginner, if not Beginner, and 1 drop of Intensity is more like it, never 3. I enjoyed the class but was a bit disappointed because it was much, much easier and slower than I expected.

I loved this class, I usually only do Jackie s but I will be adding this to my list of favourites. I think its intermediate for sure. Those twists were hard to do, and do them for an extended period of time. LOVE NANCY!!!

I did the 45 minute version of this class and definitely was feeling it! You build some heat and twist quite a bit. It felt so good to release the stress and tension. I m looking forward to trying the other lengths and coming back to this one - for sure!

Did the 45 min class and was quite warm during it. Almost every pose had a twist which was a great stress relief.

Another great class from Nancy. I agree with other reviewers that it doesn t feel like a true intermediate. Nancy cues so clearly all levels who want a twisting practice could enjoy this.

I would agree with other reviewers that this is a beginner class and not an intermediate. However it is a wonderful practice with long holds of each twisting pose, some good sun salutations and great spine extensions and hip opening. I did the 30 min practice for a good stretch after a sports massage and while i did not sweat at all, I could feel the wonderful energy flowing through me and heat building with each twist. Great class thank you!

Did the 20 min video..
I had an extremely stressful day my mind was racing when I logged on the YD. I m extremely relieved with this class. It certainly helped to remove the stressful energy blockages from today. I m extremely excited to try out the hour long class after another stressful day :)

Sweet and juicy. Got into the tight spots in my hips and lower back, and the theme was beautiful and very helpful to me! Not TOO difficult but the hour long class offers some challenging poses/longer holds so it kept my interest.

Relatively easy class. Easy to follow just from audio cues. A little slow and simple. I added on some poses at the end, but overall it was a quick and easy way to wake up the body.

I would agree with other reviewers - this is beginning or intermediate beginning. Not advanced. It was a good, solid class. Nothing fancy.

I loved this class. She used the basics and there were no "fancy" pretzel poses but I felt so happy after class.
I love the way Nancy cues. She doesn t use any cues that would end up on the website "Ridiculous Things Yoga Teachers Say" and that is one of the reasons I LOVE her classes!
She is straight, to the point, challenging, & inspiring.

As one who loves binds and twists, this class was a nice change from a regular vinyasa flow. I was surprised that some of the twists were not more complex, and would have liked to hold the poses longer. Perfect class though when thirty minutes is all I have available!

absolutely love this class. this class is great on its own, any length; for me today the 45 minutes {video} was just what i needed after a rigorous workout session. i love all the twists and balancing; the slower pace is great for creating focus and the entire practice left me feeling grounded yet still strong and energized. thank you Nancy! :)

This is a great way to start your day. All the twisting a are slow and gentle but so effective. A great between intense training workout days yoga session.

Wow. Loved this class! Nancy s instruction is perfect - her voice is very calming and this made some of the more advanced twists & holds "easier." Her form instruction was also wonderful. I m dealing with a lower back that is easily agitated and I was little concerned about doing this class (other yoga classes and postures can aggravate it). I m typing this review the next day and my back feels AWESOME! For those who are wondering about this class - do it! :-) You will feel your muscles working and your body being "rinsed out" from all the twists - all while feeling very "zen" due to Nancy s voice and the pace of the class.

Unfortunately, I let life get in the way as it had been a few years since I d practiced yoga. I knew that I needed to take that step to get back into a more mindful way of living.
I selected Nancy s audio program and couldn t be happier.
It took me a few times to work up to the the full 45 minutes but it is so rewarding and delivers exactly what I need.
In addition to the poses, I also enjoy the tone of Nancy s voice.
I would highly recommend this to anyone at any level.

I really love this class! Doing the 60 min video version, perfect balance between challenging and recuperating poses. Great instructions that increase my understanding of the various poses and make me do them better. The tempo is good, not too hard, not too slow. Finish feeling thoroughly grounded and calm. Very much recommended!

I did not find the audio instructions as easy to follow as some of the other instructors. I also did not feel that the class flowed as well as some others - perhaps because I tried the 20 minute class.

It is so great to have Nancy on YogaDownload! She provides concise cues to help you visualize the full expression of each pose while allowing you the time to explore the pose. Some of these poses were new variations to me (after several years of practice), and I enjoyed the inventive flow. I hope more classes are coming soon.

I loved this class. Twisting poses really help my IBS, so I have been looking for another great twisting class from yoga download (I love Lisa Richard s detox flow class on YD, but I practically have it memorised at this point!). The twisting pigeon poses at the end were especially fantastic, but the whole class was great! This is also a class where I think the mix between making a good video and something that also works as audio was just right. The descriptions were very detailed, which is especially great for audio, but the video was a nice complement.

Ohhhh - this is good. The twisted chair hit just the right spots. 45 minutes were gone before I knew it, and my once again engaged core is happy, happy, happy.
