Lovely flow, great workout. I only wish she didn t leave us in savasana. (I like to be brought out.) Definitely not a con worthy of docking a star, though.

I really do love the audio only classes because the instruction is so clear. This class was no exception. I quite enjoyed it.

Another Dawnelle favourite. I wish YogaDownload would go back to offering classes that one can choose to do for 30, 40, or 60 minutes; also more audio classes--easier to "take yoga anywhere" and when the instructor is good (like Dawnelle!) there s no need for a video. Less of a warm up with shorter ones, but it is up to the yogi to decide. I love all of them and choose the time based on what I can fit on any given day. Thanks for another great collection of classes, Dawnelle!

This is my favorite class! I take it at least 1x a week.
Dawnelle s instruction and flow sequence is fantastic.
I love that she incorporated forearm and handstand into the class and again great instruction for beginner at inversions. I really do feel "amazing" all day! I also really like the audio version. The instruction is so descriptive no need to look at a screen.
(Sorry to read that Dawnelle had hip replacement etc)
Can anyone recommend a teacher with similar style and inversions?

I keep coming back to this class. I love her voice and I like to get up very early and start my day with yoga and she eases your body in the class. I also do this in a warm/hot room and add in handstands during the sun salutations for an extra kick.

Great morning practice. Really warms up the back.

Did the 30 minute version of this flow and really enjoyed it. Dawnelle s lead was really good for this audio class with lots of very clear body and breath cueing. I don t find I can do Wheel - my head just does not want to go back and crown down but I did what was maybe a kind of punctured wheel (!) rather than staying in Bridge, ie hands were in the right place by ears and hips were higher but head didn t get there. Also don t manage plough or Shoulder Stand but did get legs high and hips high, so got some of the benefit. Will explore the 60 minute version at a later date.
By Lesley Willson | Wednesday, June 29, 2016
for a morning class there is not enough warm up to do wheel.

I ve been doing this morning flow for a long time. It never gets old. Wonderful all-around flow regardless of the length you choose.

It s a nice flow-y class, but it s definitely not "Bring a towel." Lots of gentle stretching.

I love this class. It is at once challenging and energizing. It is also very thoughtfully put together to help open up the chest and shoulders. One of my all-time favorites :)

I really liked this class. It was straightforward, not a lot of extra talking. Hit a lot of the major poses including inversions, balancing etc. Great backbends…missing triangle, side angle but that s really it. I have done it several times and will do again.

This was a wonderful, challenging class for the morning. I really enjoyed it!!

Great energizing back bends.

This was a good flow, but too intense for first thing in the morning. I would prefer to do this flow after my body has warmed up throughout the day.

Took the 30 minute class straight out of bed. Great wake-up. Didn t rush but got you moving with some challenge. Would be hard for a beginner as an audio class since she doesn t explain all poses and uses the Hindi words a
Only at times. Great class though!

Excellent routine for the morning! This one helped to open up my back and shoulders. It also left me feeling open and energized.

Love how this flow really focuses on the back -- especially back ends. Also great for arm strength. One of my favorite flows, really wakes you up! I have done both the 45 and 60 minute versions.

This is an older recording from Dawnelle- but one of favs! The 20 minute practice was perfect to get me started this morning! I love her soothing voice and her simple cues.

Excellent class to start the day. I did headstand instead of handstand .
By bluesun723 | Wednesday, September 11, 2013
This class is fantastic for the morning! I downloaded the 45 minute version after trying the free 20 minute sample. The class starts with a little flow to warm the body up, and then moves into some stretches, but more flow is worked in from time to time to keep the heartrate up. All of the backbends are very energizing, and I appreciate that the poses that require more balance are saved for the later half of the class. There s even a handstand toward the end! I do wish there were more poses that worked out my legs, but it s not a major complaint. The cues are fantastic, and tied well to breath. Someone who does not already know the names of the poses might find themselves a bit lost, as she sometimes just cues you to move from one pose to the other without describing them, but I expect (and prefer) that for an intermediate course. I do agree with other posters that plow is a bit intense first thing in the morning, but even though I can t get my feet all the way to the ground it is admittedly wonderful to get such a good stretch to my back...and it is the very last pose of the sequence. Overall, a good (easier) intermediate class to wake up to!

After about 5 years of using yogadownload.com, this remains one of my favorite classes - I have it in all lengths depending on how much time I have - but the 60-min one is the best.
By Outofrwanda | Tuesday, March 26, 2013
Really love this class. By far my favourite Dawnelle one so far. I ve tried the 20 min 45 and 60 min classes. The longest one is best if you have the time. Always feel amazing afterwards and pleased I took the time to do it. The music and her voice are very calming on this one. I have done it morning and night and it suits both times well. I find plough a little difficult on a morning - particularly in the short class and the forward bend after wheel is a bit tough / brutal hence taking off half a mark in my review. Was so pleased though with this though and have managed to raise my leg in wheel and perform handstand from downdog for the first time using the build ups. Excellent class!

This was perfect for the morning! Energizing and gave me a feeling of tranquility that lasted throughout the day. Loved the inversions that were integrated into the flow.

I really wish this class included more of a warm-up (a few flows?). I ve only downloaded a few classes so far but none of them include enough of a warm up for me. You re doing your first downward dog in the first few minutes of the class. I just really appreciate building heat before moving into back bends as well (not the case in the 45-minute class).
It s a challenging class (I am intermediate) but I look at Vinyasa classes because I want to break a sweat (this didn t do it for me). I felt as if I was on the verge of injuring myself at every turn (I don t feel this way at my local yoga studio). I am fit, but not super flexible. That aside I do enjoy Dawnelle s voice. I will keep hunting....

I have been using Yogadownloads.com for 3 years now and this remains my favorite class. Very energetic, inspiring and easy to follow instructions. Great in the morning or any time of day when you feel you need a wake-up.

A good class. I especially appreciate the challenging poses (headstand, full wheel). My only complaint is that I wish the A and B series went through the full flow rather short-circuiting to just crescent or warrior. I like a few breaths in down dog to take stock of my breath and my energy level. I think that this balance can be accomplished without sacrificing building warmth in the body. Overall, this was nice and I will probably try it again.

Dawnelle is a wonderful teacher: her instructions are clear (she always builds up to her flow sequence) and her practices are challenging. I felt this was just what I needed to wake up my spine and brain at 6 am! Fun and challenging sequence, I recommend it (60 min version)!

Love Love Love this class! I have nearly 20 YDL classes and this one is at the top of my list. Instructions are clear. I love the way it flows. I feel like I ve gotten a great work out by the time I m done. And I love the fact that she puts in a few child s poses here & there! Keep up the great work. Namaste .
By Jaki | Monday, April 11, 2011
It was a good class, but I found that she wasn t very clear in several parts. I would be doing the downward facing dog and then all of a sudden she was saying to do the warrior pose. Or I was on my front and she was saying to bring the knees in to the chest while you re on your back. I would stop and be confused many times.

Dawnelle taught me my first yoga class 6 years ago. Her voice and encouragement during the class is amazing. It was as if she knew exactly what my body needed and when. It was awesome. Did the 60 min.

I was skeptical at first, but I must say...after doing this several times at 5 a.m., it really does invigorate the body and wake me up! I love the focus on backbends, and I think this could be good for any time of day...except perhaps before bed!

I love this class as a transition from the easiest flows on this site to something a bit more challenging. After a few weeks of doing the gentle hatha flows and lunar flow, I started incorporating this into my routine, doing it on days when I m feeling a bit looser and ready for something more challenging than gentle hatha. There s enough variation that you can pace yourself, and Dawnelle is very clear about describing the poses. The resting postures in between the backbends also keep this from being too daunting for a beginner.

Dawnelle is so great. I love her voice and the peaceful but powerful vibe she brings through the audio presentation.
This was an excellent class. I have been nursing and rehabbing a sprained back for almost a year, and I was nervous when this class was presented as a backbending class. I let it flow though, and I m glad I did. Dawnelle offered very gentle backbends to begin, and developed the class slowly and smoothly. She shared pose variations and options, and I appreciated her sharing the "reasons" for the various postures and flows to develop the practice.

This is a really good class. It wakes up the body in a good way, and even has some fun and challenging poses in it like headstand and wheel poses.
By sparky | Wednesday, March 12, 2008
Really enjoy this one. The challenge of a raised leg wheel sets a positive tone for the rest of day, and Dawnelle is a delight to have in my ears at that time of the morning. Highly recommended.

The 20 minute morning flow is a great way to start the day. The opening sequence closely resembles surya namaskara, a beautiful salute to the sun, ideal at day break. From there a full range of postures working every part of the body flows in a tightly timed sequence all the way to a well earned rest in savasana at the end. The whole body feels invigorated and ready to go when finished and all that in just 20 minutes. This sequence really is great way to set yourself up to fully engage with all that the coming day has to offer.

This class warms you up nicely and then opens up your chest and heart with a nice set of backbends. This class is so good to undo all that hunching over we do all day long.
By jmama4girls | Thursday, September 13, 2007
I really loved this class. Dawnelle is great and explains the poses well. I surprised myself with some of them that I didn`t think I could do. If you want to get started in the morning this is one class you need to try!

I know it`s called "Morning Flow" but after a few mornings, I decided to try the practice in the evening, and I slept fantastically!

I got the 30 minutes one fist and I liked it so much I figured I try this one. Oh my God! this is a killer. It worked all my body from head to toe. Really, really good.
