I did not always feel this in my core at all. However, I definitely felt it in the front of my neck! She has a nice voice and gives clear instructions but maybe at 65, this is more than I can do?! May come back and try again some day after doing some oth r Pilates workouts.

Excellent pilates class. It covers the pilates basics and is well-instructed without being too slow. I feel it deep in my core muscles.

I am a dancer who now teaches dance at a university, and I read some of the reviews before doing this one. I would say this is a classic Pilates workout-- probably the most traditional Pilates class on this site, and I ve been a member since, like, 2005. If you come to it with a Pilates base, by which I mean having taken class with an instructor and not online, it s great. If you are more of a yogi who s done some Pilates fusion classes, it won t feel like much. Pilates exercises employ a very specific musculature that s hard to describe in just 30 minutes. Cher s classes are better if you ve never had Pilates, but if you have, I feel she takes too much time to explain. Someone said this class feels like a lot of leg, but it s not really. Every exercise is a core strengthening exercise, but core control not just your six pack, but the movement of your arms and legs as well. So I give it five points for a clear, concise, traditional, no frills Pilates class. It gets the job done.

It was pretty good. I wish it had more side legs, but other than that a solid basic Pilates class. Also, I found some of her queuing a little all over the place, but I felt like I got a full workout.

Loved this! Instructions are VERY clear and continuous so you don t need to be diverted to look at the screen. Challenging and hits the spot. Will be doing this often.

Not sure what the reviewer meant that she didn t get an ab workout with this one! I definitely felt it! Good sequence of exercises as well, and it goes fast enough to get a little cardio in as well.

I have been doing a lot of the ab classes offered here on YD. This one has probably been my least favorite. Most of the ab work did not get my core vibrating and it focused a lot on straightening legs, which is extremely hard if you are like me and have tight hamstrings. Maybe I am just more of a yogini at heart than a pilates girl, but I wasn t really impressed with this class. The instructor is very clear and has a very nice voice, but the class just didn t do it for me. I would recommend the hardCORE yoga classes if you want core work and flow.
