Very enjoyable introductory class. Clearly explained and demonstrated - I took a lot from this class and felt very calm and centred afterwards.

A beautiful class to start or restart the yoga praxis. The instructions are easy to follow, the pace is perfect and doable even if you re really out of condition, but challenging enough to stretch you and get you warm ;
I ll be repeating this often. Feeling great afterwards! Thank you!

I often find yoga videos hard to follow, but the imstructions here were great. I do have some experience of yoga, but I am out of practice. This class has renewed my confidence in commencing practice again. Great class!

A great class to get back into this after too long away. Great pace, clear instruction. And challenges---for me, the standing and balancing postures were tough. Adding to my Favorites.

I love the "do what you can" mantra, but as a "beginner" I had to modify many of the poses. I realize this is a process and look forward to being able to do all these poses, but it s pretty challenging for the brand new beginner like me. Plus I m older and arthritic, although very active, so I didn t imagine it would be as difficult as it was. Very well explained and modeled.

As someone who has tried yoga here and there I embarked on a more committed yoga journey starting with this video. I couldn t be happier. The cues about alignment and what you were supposed to put where we re super helpful and really made me fell like I was learning the poses. The cues about breathing were also wonderful and kept me connected to my breath the entire time and (mostly) out of my mind. Excited to learn more!

I have always hated the slow pace of yoga, but this class was just the right and the instructors words much clearer than in the past with the music being quieter than normal.Looking forward to trying this out again as it increased my flexibility in just one session.

This class was wonderful! I was introduced to yoga last year when a friend invited me to her gym for a class, but I think it was more of an intermediate level class so I didn t enjoy it much. I kept hearing so much about how yoga was good for you so I decided to try it again by doing this class and I m so glad that I did! The pace was perfect without moving too fast nor too slow, and the music was calming. I feel light and very satisfied. Thank you for showing me how great yoga can be!

This is a great introduction to yoga. The slow pace is mindful, not boring. The instructor s voice is soothing and the music selection is just right. Very thorough practice.

I loved this class. I had foot surgery back in March and started the 21 day yoga challenge to get myself back on track now that I can put full weight on my foot. I ve lost a lot of strength and need to remind myself that it s okay. This class was slow enough so I could begin to master the postures again and the instructor reminds you to take things at your own pace. My favorite class so far.

I m used to Power Vinyassa, and was wondering what I would get out of a beginners class. The answer is, a lot. For those of you used to a faster pace, slowing it down, and holding the pose can be a much harder task. This is a great class for those new to yoga, and those who have been doing yoga for a long time. Give it a try. As it s said, Yoga is a process, and sometimes it s good to get back to basics.

If you are new to yoga and aren t very flexible this class is perfect to start with. The music and Jackie s voice are not only soothing but she s also very encouraging, she even acknowledges the positions beginners tend to fall out of (which I did several times). Worth downloading to have permanently!

I love it! I ve tried several types of yoga over the years, but I didn t end up liking any of there style s until Jackie s class. I feel so energized and refreshed after doing it. I ve tried several other beginner ones on here, but I haven t gotten the same great feeling as I do with her class.

I must say I really like Jackie s voice. Jackie guides you through this class really well as I am a beginner and do not know all this poses , but thanks to Jackie and my local yoga teacher (barbara)I m getting them. Thanks yogadown load for the classes when I can t get to the studio just hoping it will work when I don t have Internet this weekend.

I used to practice yoga regularly, but have fallen out of practice for about 9 years. This was my first foray back into yoga and it was terrific - a perfect blend of challenge, familiarity, and tranquility. Great instructor, very easy to follow and a calming presence.

Love Instructor Jackie! Have enjoyed doing this Beginner Class very much! Would appreciate some more classes for us beginners, please! Have also enjoyed doing Instructor Jaime Kent s Beginner Class & would enjoy more, as well. I feel it s important to get the form correct on each pose & after that the "flow" will happen.
