nice and well explained flow. I find more suitable for an evening class, to unwind from the day. Thank you
By Cat | Friday, January 4, 2019
Nice easier flow. Some poses I hadn t tried before and was happy to have a visial. Good reminders and soothing voice.

1.4.2019 Did as part of YDL 30 min 30 day challenge, after doing a hard 30 min Tabata workout. This was such a nice welcome relief after that. I have done this class before, but don t think I ever reviewed it, it is in my favorites. As always, very calming voice, always feel so good after.
By KateZ | Friday, January 4, 2019
Clear instructions but not so easy to follow as the video was shot all the way across the studio. I stream on an iPad mini and I could not see pose details from 6 feet away,on my mat.
By Liz | Friday, January 4, 2019
Good class for first thing in the morning. Very gentle, allowing the body to wake up with ease!
By Sharmel | Friday, January 4, 2019

I liked this yoga session. There were a couple of poses that I hadn t come across before and that s lovely to experience. Namaste.
By LuluRose | Thursday, January 3, 2019
Perfect 30mins to wake up with (or I imagine would be equally as beneficial after a long day). Felt like a mini-massage :)
By Syls Mom | Friday, May 11, 2018
Still love this one especially when I don’t feel that I have the time! Elise, you’re fabulous!
By Bethingten | Friday, February 2, 2018
I tried this as part of the 21 day challenge. After rock climbing today, I needed something more chill for my yoga; this class was perfect. It was almost an "aaahhh", it was so relaxing. Got to stretch out my whole body in just 30 minutes! I would have preferred some side stretching, and maybe a balancing pose, but I realize that s a lot to ask for just 30 min! I would do this class again at the end of a long day when I just need to unwind. It was perfect for that.

I am an absolute beginner at yoga. I also have a reverse shoulder replacement with a lot of scar tissue growth that causes limited mobility movement on my left side reach. I LOVED this class! I was able to do almost every single pose/stretch. The directions & explanations were clear and the demonstrations were visible with 3 people modeling. Time was allowed for me to actually do what was asked (I ve tried classes where we were told "Do 3-10 more" and then the instructor moved on to the next pose/movement). This is also a great class if you have a limited amount of time but want to feel like you had a good stretch. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic class! Felt wonderful, Thank you!

As a mom of 3 children under 6 I have very few large blocks of time but lots of sore muscles and a yearning for calm focus. This is the perfect routine targeting key areas and keeping it short enough to fit into life. I’m looking forward to coming back to this a few times a week to wind up or more likely to wind down my day. Thanks Elise.

I again had to wait to do yoga until the end of the day. This was a great class for starting or ending your day. Short and sweet. I m really liking the classes I ve taken from Elise! Thank you for the "sensitive knee" information, as I think I slightly injured one of mine on Day 3 of the challenge.
By ponttingley | Thursday, January 4, 2018
Elise has a soothing voice that guides you through this very relaxing practice. Great at the end of the day!
By Geri | Thursday, January 4, 2018
This is a great class for when you get a bit annoyed that you ve not made time in your day for yoga - lots of lovely stretches and focus on breathing in under 30 minutes made me feel really happy for making time before bed to fit this in. Thanks Elise.
By Africache | Thursday, January 4, 2018
I tried this as a part of the 21 day challenge. After walking about 11 miles today through the city, I just needed to unwind, stretch and reground. I found it in this class. I really liked Elise. I loved the pace of this slow but not too slow and you really feel good at the end. Thanks
By Syls Mom | Thursday, January 4, 2018
Enjoyed having the options of short classes. Still trying to get my flexibility back after no yoga for 5 months! Love this challenge.
By MH | Thursday, January 4, 2018
I definitely have enjoyed each day so far - today s was a bit more challenging in trying to obtain fluidity but I expect that will improve with practice.
By Khrisa | Thursday, January 4, 2018
Very enjoyable class, very calming flow.
By rpatalon | Thursday, January 4, 2018

Easy warm-up video if you don t have much time. This won t make you sweat but will definitely set the stress aside and let you focus on your energy.
By Amanda | Thursday, June 11, 2015
This was a lovely, mellow paced, intro to yoga. I ve only done 2-3 other sessions, several years ago, so I m really a newbie. I m using this class and this website to help get back in shape after the birth of my new baby.
My other two kids(2 and 3 years old) really enjoyed watching me do this and doing some of it with me. It was quite amusing watching them do some of the poses so easily that were difficult for me. They do this stuff naturally all the time, just playing!
Afterwards I can feel the blood moving and feel that my body is more awake. And I love that this will help me to restore strong limberness.
Thanks!

I woke up tight this morning and was looking for something short but also effective. This video was both. I feel great after doing this routine. I am new to yoga, so my question is- what was the block for? There was no mention of it during the video and no one used it.
By Newyogi | Sunday, March 29, 2015
Thank you for an amazing short sequence to kick start my day, Elise. I feel ready to jump into a hectic day now.

This is a really nice way to wind down your day. Very simple and relaxing.
By flamenco_goddess | Saturday, November 15, 2014
This is what I had time for and moved slow enough for a beginner (me). I was surprised how much more limber I am after doing 3 yoga classes.
By motoyoyogi | Thursday, November 6, 2014
I liked this as a pre-bedtime wind down. Thank you for this class!

Really nice practice to do mid-day. Not too active, but just enough to restore your energy.
By Laney | Wednesday, November 5, 2014
Felt great!

Great beginning, relaxing class, but with some surprising openings too. I enjoyed it as a peaceful wake up but it would be good before bed too. Nice.

Very simple and very easy. Should be classified as "ahhhh" instead of everyday namaste. I m a fan of this teacher, all of her classes are very well done with clear and well done instruction.

Great for thee morning!
By 1RosieOne | Saturday, September 6, 2014
This was just what I needed this morning. I was supposed to run, but woke up late very sore from standing all night long. This class stretched my tired muscles and revitalized me. I m ready to do my run now. This is going to become a great go-to class for me!

Very basic, easy, stretch based session.

This was my first experience with a Yogadownload class & first time doing any yoga for many years. It was just as described and left me peaceful as well as happily anticipating another class!
By cats4me1984 | Wednesday, June 4, 2014
I thought the class would have been better with soft background music. The video also was not very good
By Marjiburnett | Wednesday, June 4, 2014
Perfect beginner class for me. I am 63 and new to yoga., I could do this! Very calming and stress relieving which is what the doctor ordered :-)

I love this class both for a morning wake up or an afternoon relaxation. Great class!
By Krista | Thursday, May 1, 2014
Great morning workout. Stretches whole body. Soft music and soft spoken instructor. Will practice again.
By LindaR | Sunday, April 27, 2014
A great 30 minute class. I get antsy in the long classes but am then suspect that the short classes won t be sufficient. This one is short and packs a lot in. You will be glad you did it AND it is only 30 minutes! :)
By hartgro | Sunday, April 27, 2014
Great class. Very rejuvenating - perfect balance of effort and relaxation. Plan to do this every evening to reset after a long day.
By Donna | Thursday, April 24, 2014
Very gentle, easy class, nice for morning or evening just before bed. Slow pace. Enjoyed it.
By CMDCarlisle | Sunday, March 23, 2014
Wonderful way to energize and wake up- not difficult but highly effective.
By MHicks22 | Wednesday, March 19, 2014
Fantastic session when you re short on time. Makes for a perfect lunchtime yoga. Loved it.
By Krista Cooke | Wednesday, February 12, 2014
I liked the class a lot, but didn t like the background elevator piano music. Good stretches for low back and hips, a good mid-day pause from a computer.
By Leslie Lomot | Monday, February 10, 2014
Loved it! The music was pleasant and it was a great way to start my day
By Rebecca Persky | Saturday, February 8, 2014
Just right for this 67 year old who has only done yoga occasionally in the past 40 years.
By Cindy lu | Friday, January 17, 2014
This class was very nice. Elise s gentle voice and lovely smile made to quite pleasant to practice. I am recovering from a shoulder injury, and the class was quite doable for me with only a few modifications needed. I liked the flow that included child s pose, cat cow, rising to knees, modified up dog and down dog. I think this would be nice to do before bed on a day when you don t have much energy left.
Thank you for this class. Namaste.
By Anne Fenn | Wednesday, January 15, 2014
Perfect! Exactly what I need - not so strenuous that I decide not to do it (!!), short enough that I have no excuse not to do it (do u see a theme here?) and a great sequence that opens up shoulders, hips and heart. Must share!!!
By Mandy | Saturday, January 11, 2014
Very good stretch - energizing!
By Tessa | Monday, January 6, 2014
i had done yoga before, but not seriously for a few years. i attempted an advanced yoga video but found, while i could do the poses, it moved a little fast for me, so i decided to go back to beginner. this video was perfect for a warm up back into yoga. it was relaxing, but i also felt the stretches, so it isn t simply a meditation. the only reason i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was that i felt too much of the video was warm up and cool down. while both are important, for such a short video, i would have enjoyed more stretches. also, be aware, for me at least, the video glitched in the beginning but was fine after that.

This was my first video I tried . Her voice was peaceful and she was very descriptive. I was able to move through the experience with out constantly watching the video. I will definitely incorporate this video after work to shed the daily stress
By twhitt80 | Friday, December 6, 2013
Yeah that was good. There was a chain saw at one point but she did start talking so it helped. The tightness in my body feels a lot better and i m ready to go to sleep for the night!
By Lanna | Thursday, November 7, 2013
Great way to begin. . . Or end the day. I especially appreciate the clear instruction and attention to breathing.
By Gelateria100 | Tuesday, November 5, 2013
This is actually a very good sequence. Too bad about the power saw noise in the background, but at least she started talking like a normal person once it started. It s worth the trade off!
By alyjo | Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Felt wonderful! Just what I needed. The instruction was great!
By Cathy | Saturday, October 12, 2013
Love this yoga video. Perfect pace for a great stretch anytime of the day.
By nbell120 | Thursday, October 10, 2013
Love this class and flow!
By ljsmom | Monday, September 16, 2013
Wrong Title! This is a very nice unwind and de-stress class for the end of a day. She mentions this is the class too. I took it as a wake up class and found it did little to build any energy for the day. Not a bad class just not what it is billed.
By Anne Staver | Thursday, August 29, 2013
I really like how this starts slowly, in Savasana, stretches you out, and ends on a more energetic note. Great start to my day.
By mamaalhe | Saturday, August 10, 2013
It s a great class but all of the explanation talks about this being for the end of the day. To unwind after a day s work. I was looking for a class to help me wake up and prepare for the day, not unwind.
By shar | Tuesday, August 6, 2013
It s an excellent class. It s also great for evening relaxation and its quick. If you need a nice stretch this is the one. I like it. I would do it again. It s exactly as the title says. Great for a beginner.
By Monique | Tuesday, August 6, 2013
pleasant class. it could also work well as an evening practice. the pace is slow {starting in savasana, doing supine twists and rolls was nice}, but because of the title, i expected it to pick up a bit more. really liked the inclusion of hip opening and spine work; overall, this is a good practice for soothing, gentle movement. :)
By chocolateom | Friday, August 2, 2013
I absolutely loved this practice. Thank you. It is a perfect way to reconnect with my practice and balance my energy when I am not feeling upto a full length class!
