Great all over body workout. This class gives lots of cues and is well balanced. Great for beginners doing yoga with weights.

Awesome

I thought this was a great total body workout-- esp since she still makes it feel like yoga rather than a boot camp cross fit class. Made me sweat!

If you can be patient during the first 20 min of too much talking and basics the 2nd 25 is excellent. However I removed from favorites. It s a beginner class. Yet the flow is good. Too bad she can t speed up the whole series b/c the sculpt part is good just toooooo slow first 20 min.

Excellent body workout.

I enjoyed the workout though it is not bring a towel intensity. I will be happy doing the workout again!

Pretty good workout, but agree that the warm-up is too long, and the instructor s chattiness distracting.

I really like Dawnelle s classes, especially the sculpting ones. This one is a good challenge which leaves you feeling strong, open and in control. Thanks Dawnelle.

I only do the 60 min workout and I absolutely love this video! I get an amazing full body workout and sweat quite a bit. I enjoy the teacher s instruction and the student has perfect form which to me is very important if I m going to follow along. Definitely one of my favorite videos so far.

She talks way too much and it s very distracting. The 45 minute video is a lot of wasted time. She starts with a very basic warm up that takes 15 minutes because she spends so much time repeating what the purpose of strength yoga is that there is minimal yoga happening. I understand holding poses for a bit of time but when she s talking through it there s no focus happening. After 15 minutes of warm up you finally pick up the weights and she repeats a lot of the initial 15 minutes using the weights. After standing in the first crescent pose with the weights for about 30 seconds I had to turn the video off. After 20 minutes my heart rate felt about the same as it does when I m sitting on the couch. In a 45 minute Sculpting class that s rated as "bring a towel" intensity I want to be sweating at least 2/3rds of the time instead of being agitated by the instructor s constant talking. Definitely going back to Becca Riopelle s courses.

Great video. The flow was smooth and the moves were intense. This definitely works your endurance.

I really like Dawnelle as an instructor, however, this one isn t my favorite. I like yoga with weights better as there is more of a flow to it.

I really liked this class. I did the 45 minutes and it was right on the mark. Great flow not too fast not too slow. I ve noticed just as she says, the weights add strength and takes your workout to the next level. I appreciate her expertise and she targets all the areas that I need. Thanks for another great class. She says you should try incorporating these weights for sculpting at least 3x per week.

A good and challenging class with good guidance throughout. However, a bit repetitive in terminology while promoting Yoga Sculpt which we found to be distracting to the focus of the class.

I loved the class. Gave me a great workout!

Rockin Strong Standing Ovation over this class! Dawnelle created an hour that integrated powerful yoga moves, yet using the weights made you feel even grounded into your mind and body while getting a great workout too that everybody loves. What a discovery. Class ACT! awesome...more more more Bravo Bravo.

Dawnelle is quite a talker. I won t be doing this practice again, because part of what I enjoy about yoga is the meditative quality it brings into my life. If Dawnelle would just be quiet, I could maybe hear what my body is trying to say to me.

Can Dawnelle stop talking and start actually doing the poses? She talked for ever and I felt very stranded.

I love this video! I typically do the hour long session 2 times a week. I am on my 3rd week of this class and I have seen so many improvements on my body and flexibility. Doing this workout for an hour is difficult. There are a lot of poses to hold and using weights adds another level of intensity. If you stick with it and do the entire video to the best of your ability, then you will see results:)

As a workout, this is spectacular. It challenges the body and builds strength and balance. If you are used to workout videos and the like, this will be a welcome compliment to the cardio-focused workout. It will heal your body and you will feel great.
If you practice yoga for a combination of spiritual release, meditation, and to build strength, it is not conducive to such practice. The instructor s voice is sharp and can be distracting and even agitating. The message and movements focus almost exclusively on the body.

Dawnelle - you never disappoint. This class was challenging and your cueing perfect. I felt incredible afterwards and this will be one of my regular classes. You re hands down my favorite on this site. I can t get enough of your power vinyasa flows or the ones with weights. Please more classes from you!!!!! Michelle

HD would be excellent! and there is a little microphone crackle a few times BUT very minor issues for this is a great class. It is NOT for beginners because it is fast paced, that s the point to burn calories, fat and strengthen. I feel AWESOME after this challenging class but you are going to feel it. Dawnell s instructions were very good, always reminding us to breath, be aware of your core strength and encouraging. I highly recommend this class for those that have been practicing awhile you re gonna feel great! namaste

Oh Emm Gee!!!! This is insanely nuts and satisfying! Tremendous total body workout, with weights and cardio built in to the practice! I used this after my 5 mile run today, and can truly say I am stretched out. You will NOT be disappointed with this yoga. I am going to recommend this to everyone I can think of!

Ive only been doing yoga for a few months now, but I ve been to several classes (in person), and downloaded several classes from this site.
I have to say, Dawnelle is by far the best instructor I ve encountered, and her classes are the perfect combination of difficult strength and flexibility exercises.
Though breathing is always a focal point in yoga, I find her classes to be more fitness - oriented (rather than meditative or calming) which I REALLY love!
Every time you go into a pose, she encourages you to really push yourself. You really CAN feel the effects almost immediately (like she says, inside and out).
Every class is an excellent workout - and well worth the sweat and next-day soreness!

I have been using Yoga Download for about 4 years now and Dawnelle is one of my favorite instructors! This class is one of my favorites! I usually do the 30 or 45 minute class.
The audio is a little off and there isn t any type of music in the background but the class is wonderful. Even though there is strength training involved, the class is still very yogic.

I downloaded de 45 min class and I just loved it! The pace is just right and the weights give yoga practice an interesting twist. You reeeeaaaally feel it worked the next day. I can t complain about the sound, it is not the best but it didn t keep me from hearing the instructions. If you want a challenge this is the class for you.

I agree with everyone: this is a great workout. I love the weights as it adds a whole new dimension to a yoga class. I was really sweating by the time I was done. I felt great when it was over. The sound quality is POOR! I had to turn the computer volume up 100% to hear. It sounds muffled and at times difficult to understand her directions. Still, I give it 5 stars because it is a great workout.

I couldn t remember which yoga with weights class I like the best... this is the one! Whew! Love the feeling of getting stronger! Thanks, Dawnelle, for another great class.

This is a great class! Really tough - I was only using 1lb weights and I was struggling - but you can really feel your muscles working and the adrenaline keeps you going.
Using the weights makes a nice change from standard yoga, especially if yoga is your main form of exercise.

This is a great workout, very challenging and a great endorphin booster.

I love Dawnelle s yoga with weights classes and hope she will make more. Her classes are my first experience adding weights to my practice and I am in awe of how they have taken me to the next level. Her asana sequencing weaves perfectly through the weight lifting sets and targets muscle groups that are essential for yoga. Now I can get my strength training without going to the gym and enjoy a beautiful yoga class at the same time.

The class is a great workout. I found that the sound quality was surprisingly poor.

I am an avid runner so it takes a lot to make my body work hard and sweat - but this video went there. My body was definitely challenged and I didn t even use weights the first time. This video pushes you; you have to use your breathe to get through some exercises. There is not much I would give up my running workout for but I will incorporate this into my weekly workouts once or twice a week. Don t think it will be an issue to look smokin in a bikini by summer doing this.

Loved it. I like the use of the weights and the video.
