I took the 20 minutes version. This is one of early time of Yoga Download videos, and there is an editing issue; however, as a yoga exercise, the instruction is clear and easy to follow. I learned how to use abdominal manacles to keep the pose longer without relying on my flexibility such as Downdog. Thank you.

I liked it! Don t agree with a lot of the more critical commentary - the only issue is when she did call out chatauranga during side angle and then quickly corrects herself with no acknowledgment of the mistake. Definitely love these audio classes!

Did the 30 min version, not at all challenging and there are some editing issues as at one point Jackie says do chattaranga and then suddenly she is in side angle pose.

Having done just about every one of Jackie s classes, finally tried this one. I love the workout and we did it as a group...and sweated! The routine is great but the music and sound problems was a bit distractful. But we will do it again, for sure. Maybe if you tape again just the instructions, it ll be perfect. And would love more routines like this one.

Jackie’s classes are timeless.

I m only giving this class four stars instead of five stars because it is pretty old-school, from 2009 in the website s early days. Given the sound and audio quality though, it still gives you a good workout and I m finding myself very sweaty and chilled out at the end. Jackie is always a fabulous teacher and, as long as you forgive the technology which is over a decade old, it is a good class. :-)

Normally I really enjoy Jackie s classes but this is not one of my favorites. Jackie s voice to too quiet and is overpowered by very distracting music. I won t be doing this one again.

Great class, great instructor! Only downside ....... the music.

Loved it once again. Thank you and Namaste.

Great class. Poor music, especially found the music during savasana to distracting. I needed something more calming and peaceful to play in the background. Otherwise class was good. I have done the 30 and 45 and prefer the 45 min.

Vintage Yoga Download right here, complete with the soundtrack from 80’s elevators! Good flow, but it’s nice to see how far Jackie has come with her sequencing since this class. It’s great.

Nice class if you are looking for a simple flow that focuses on long holds in traditional poses, all while building strength and refining technique. Also good for beginners - not overly demanding. As always, I really appreciate Jackie s cues and helpful reminders.

I enjoyed the first 3/4 of the practice but was suddenly taken out of the moment by a very bad edit which took me from a seated position into a laying position in the middle of a core excercise with no segue . I found it jarring and scrambled to get into the position which disrupted my inward focus. I did like the instructors style very much and hope Yoga Download will fix the edit because I think it would be a very effective short practice. I woild have bought the longer practice.

These are really great and well-rounded classes, so I m glad I decided to try them despite the comments about sound quality and background music. I didn t find either distracting in any of them, so I encourage you to try one (or all!) and judge for yourself.

Good cues and alignment checks! FYI, a very slow paced class.

Love this! Beautifully balanced, well-rounded workout

I keep on coming back to this class...what a lovely way to start the day and build strength. The 45-and 60-minute versions are my favorite. Every muscle in your body will benefit!!!

Great class. It wasn t too challenging but is definitely a solid class that could easily be done daily. Its a full body work out, and includes a good amount of core work.

I really enjoyed this session. It s not terribly difficult but gave me a good practice focusing on becoming more stable in my poses. It was just what I needed after a stressful day. I really enjoy jackie s teaching style as well

I love this practice! I ve been away from yoga for a little while, and this practice is bringing it back quickly. Jackie is a powerful teacher with just the right amount of encouragement and calming!
LOVE!

Im usually not one to be negative with yoga but this class has a deceiving title. This class is good if you are looking for a beginner level flow. I did the 60 minute class, couldn t hear her very well. Probably one of my least favorite classes I ve done on the site.

I loved this class. I no longer have any excuse for not getting in a workout on days when I m travelling or feel short on time. I ESPECIALLY liked the fact that in spite of this being a short class, shavasana was not short-changed. Well done!

Great class, not sure what the issue was for some reviewers with the audio quality, I did not find this at all bothersome.

I would have given this class higher marks except that the sound quality was poor and Jackie called the wrong pose and didn t correct it. Overall I really enjoyed the pace and the cues, she has a nice soothing voice. I will absolutely do this class again...next time I will try and remember NOT to drop into chattaranga right in the middle of warrior flow as it s a mistake! I think this video would be worth reshooting with better audio and editing as it s really good overall and it did challenge my strength.

I will not be doing this class again. This is my fourth class from Jackie and I really enjoy her. Maybe my audio was defected, but it sounded like she kept hitting the mic causing loud, annoying blows. This was extremely unpleasant due to the fact that I had the volume up because her voice was quiet. She called the wrong pose in a sequence and paused a lot to recall the next position.

The routine is good but the instructor s voice is too quiet against the music, and I found the music irritating and unenjoyable, especially at the end when I was trying to relax! I don t think I ll be doing this one again.

Even though I usually do the intermediate-advanced classes, I did this class today because I am sore from a boot camp style workout yesterday and wanted some heat building, long, slow holds, and a good stretch, to relax and detox a little. This was the perfect class! I knew Jackie would be a good choice for some relaxation time-- her voice is so calming and her lessons about yoga are always welcome and enlightening. I tried the 20 minute version to see what it was like, and loved it so much I downloaded the 60 minute version and did the whole thing. I feel great! A loose, relaxed, content yoga noodle. This is perfect for any level!

This class is just awesome! Jackie s voice is grounding, and her cueing is so right on! This is great for all levels!

I appreciate Jackie s calm & supportive demeanor throughout the session. I find her frequent reminders about alignment especially useful because I m relatively new to yoga and haven t had much studio time. It s just challenging enough for an advanced beginner. A note on the soundtrack: the music isn t the best, but what the heck it doesn t take away from the routine itself. Thank you!

This class was not nearly intense enough. I appreciate Jackie s explanations, for beginners, but if you know about yoga at all it s a bit tedious. I think you d do just as well to download any other yoga class and you d get as much strength gains.

This is an amazing class. The sound quality is different than the older audio classes because it was probably recorded while making the video. I downloaded the video, and really enjoyed this class. Jackie s voice is very conversational, and her instruction is very clear and specific. The sequence is great as it really focuses on your strength, as well as flexibility, which is very unique. I would highly reccomend this class for all levels of yogis. Jackie is a very skilled teacher.

I normally like Jackie s classes. However, I feel the sound quality on this recording is very poor and was hard for me to get over. This class also feels to me kind of like an infomercial, mostly because of the way she s talking.

This was an excellent class. The warm-up was sweet and smooth, and I thought the pace of the class was fairly slow, but that served to bring a focus to the engagement of the muscles. It was a good practice in lengthening and refining my Ujjayi. I really loved the entire practice and stayed focused throughout. Well rounded and well cued. Jackie has a great voice. I didn’t care for some of the music. Would love more “strength yoga” from Jackie!

I liked this one a lot because it is fast paced. Cuing is excellent, as usual by Jackie. I ve only tried the 20 minutes audio and have been reluctant to purchasing a longer once because the audio is really bad. Lot s of sounds like the mike has scraped against her shirt or something. Please fix it!

I really love Jackie s instructions and comments. My friend and I have done this two weeks in a row. She s a beginner and I ve been practicing longer but we both get what we need from this class.
By Aubrey Collins | Thursday, January 21, 2010
Jackie is such a great teacher that she completely explains all aspects of the practice so thoroughly that you gain confidence each time you do it. I ve done the 20-minute and 60-minute versions of this class. 20 is great when I m short on time and 60 is perfect for days I really want to spend time working on getting stronger.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This is a great beginner class. It s fun and goes by SO fast!

This 30mnin class was a great class to help me transition from the intro yoga class to the more advance classes, fun and fast didn t even feel like the 30mins have passed, Jackie is a great teacher.
