Highly recommend this invigorating class

They ve fixed the slides that are mentioned in some other reviews. This is everything I want from a yoga class. Pose sequences that push you. Some flow. Some variation. But this class is 10 years old now. Most of the more recent classes I ve tried are not this good in terms of sticking to yoga and still making it challenging yet engaging.

Class is good but the video is not synchronised with the audio and it s very hard to follow along...

Love this style. Challenging yet relaxing. Great cues.

Really great moderately paced core class!

This class is an enjoyable challenge. It will be a long time before I am able to actually do all the poses she describes but it is something to work toward. The pace is brisk but clear and very understandable. I don t even need the pose guide for this one. For the 20-minute version I don t always feel like I am quite warmed up enough for the first chataranga/up-dog.

I did the 30min class. I found it balanced and relaxing and enjoyed the extra time to hold the core poses.

Very nice! I did the 45minute version and let me tell you, I felt it! By the end of the practice, I was majorly united with my core, which is exactly what I was looking for. The next day I felt it mostly in my triceps. Really nice if you need to reconnect and challenge inner integrity.
Namaste

I really enjoyed the class, but felt that the slideshow was a bit useless. It s a great idea, but the timing was so off that you were often 2-3 poses ahead of the guide. There was one time that I didn t quite understand the cuing, so I was doing it wrong for a few breathes until the pose guide caught up and I could correct myself. Would do it again with audio only.

excellent instruction and flow. slides were often out of sync with voice, though.

I love this core class. I did the 45-minute version and it s a great core workout throughout. Highly recommended!

I can feel it! Good variety of poses, I wish she explained more about how to hold the poses, and the tempo. Overall good though- good core workout, but relaxing and energizing. Namaste!

Very good, maybe a bit too fast for beginners but should be ok with practice.

got hooked on yoga and this is our regular workout, downloaded to my macbook air so we could use it on
our Cruise vacation and not have to tie into the internet machine. Dawnelle is a great motivator, even though its the same thing everytime, some days she seems easy than others?

I enjoyed this class. However, the slide show was not in time with the audio.

The 20 minute class was very core intensive as advertised. I found this length enough time to work only on my core. When I choose a longer class, I like more and varied poses to work entire body so I m not likely to download the longer sessions here. I know I will feel tall and strong all day thanks to this quick workout.

This class is excellent...it works out your core just as advertised. I have the 20 minute and the 60 minute class. The 60 minute class is definitely core-intensive, and leaves my abs all warm and even sometimes sore the next day (and I do yoga or pilates 4-5 times a week religiously). The 20 minute class is fantastic too, and I like to pair it with other 20 minute classes, such as Baptiste Power Vinyasa Flow 3 or Detox Yoga 1, to get a total body workout. I like that she often tells you just how long you ll be holding poses like boat. Download it!

This class is great, but the slide show needs improvement. The slides were often 2 or 3 steps behind. Generally, I could understand Dawnelle s instructions, but occasionally I had to look up for help. It never helped.
Thankfully, Dawnelle is great. And, in spite of some confusion for me, I still got a terrific workout. Dripping sweat, very challenged. Thanks, Dawnelle!

I ve used the 20 minutes and 45 minutes classes and will review both here. The 20 minutes is an excellent starter and was what made me decide to get an unlimited package in the end. I put it on my phone so I could do it each morning before work without even having to turn on my PC. Also like the 45 minutes though the move into aeroplane seemed strange and not as flowing as the rest which is why I marked down a half mark. I love Dawnelle s style and have downloaded other of her classes. Great!

I picked this class base on other favorable reviews, and I wasn t disappointed. I learned quite a lot from this class, not realizing before how to use my core not only to move between poses, but to take poses deeper (including down dog and forward fold). Definitely 5 stars!

Did the 20 minute class and I loved it! I m reading the other reviews, and apparently a lot of people have seen results from regularly repeating this practice; I believe em! This is tough but so rewarding, and so clearly led by Dawnelle!

I love the 20 min class because it is really challenging and got me sweating and shaking with effort and intention quickly! The 60 minute class is a great sustained focus on abs but not as intense as the 20 minute session. She moves you through repetitions of the same postures that made you sweat in the 20 minute version but mixes it up with strength, stretching, and balance postures. Awesome!!!

I downloaded the 20 minute class first and it is a good way to start off the day. It gets my heart going and I always feel good and strong for the rest of the day. I also downloaded the 60 minute class. The first time I did it I sweated as much as I expected to but was surprised when I was not sore the next day. The next time I did the class I was a bit more sore and even more sore the time after that. I think it takes time to develop full awareness of the potential of the core and the instructions have since changed the way I do yoga. This is a great class.

I do the 30 minute class and feel challenged with some of the positions and the quickness to transitions but the longer holding of positions. Recently back to yoga I enjoy that I will grow into this video with practice.

I like a bit more of a warm up with my yoga classes -- there are no Sun Salutations in this one -- but Dawnelle gives very clear, detailed instructions, which was appreciated. Felt more like a fitness class than a yoga class.
By Chinoiseries | Saturday, May 28, 2011
The 60 minutes version is very challenging and you ll feel completely wrung out (in a good way!) afterwards. I m used to doing several Sun Salutations A & B to create heat before starting the rest of the yoga sequence, but Dawnelle s slow build-up worked quite well too. Her instructions are clear and concise, even without looking at the pose guide / slides I could easily follow the sequence.

Great 60 minute core workout, would love it if Danelle did a core class with some more advanced yoga in it, with a half moon and a nice inversion thrown in there.
By Danielle Foster | Monday, February 28, 2011
Really challenging but in the best way possible. I don t do this one very frequently because I kind of have to psych myself up to it, but when I do do it, the aftereffects are great. I feel a little sore, but a good sore, for the next day or two.

This is a great an workout. I did the 20 minute download and think my abs will be sore tomorrow from the pulses. I m a beginner, yet the instructor was so clear that I never got lost. I m definitely going to buy the full download!

I did the 20 min version and it was great! I love this ab/core workout. I am going to buy the 45 min workout. It is challenging and well done.

This class (I did 20 min) is tough and good. I usually do it in lieu of an ab routine after my weights session at the gym. Great workout!
By Heidi Elder | Thursday, January 21, 2010
This is a great ab workout, i love it, it is challenging and i can feel the burn. I can feel and see the difference after doing this workout. Thank you.

Being new to Yoga, I was surprised and how hard this practice worked my body. I haven`t found a class I didn`t get results from yet!

The 45-minute core class was FANTASTIC: challenging yet doable, and all the poses were explained extremely well. Thank you!
By joshmax | Saturday, September 15, 2007
I don`t like this as much as the other classes I downloaded but it`s still a good class. I just wish it moved a little more in the beginning to raise my heart rate and build heat.

This was a great class. I loved it. My abs felt it the next day. Dawnelle is wonderful and does a great job explaining the poses.

I love the 20 minutes core yoga class. I have been doing it for two weeks since I downloaded it. I use it as one of my daily routines and it is perfect.Dawnelle is an excellent teacher. Her instruction is clear and encouraging, and i like her voice too. I`m so glad that I have found yoga download. It`s a great place to get different routines to add to my yoga pratice. Thank you very much!

I`ve tried out the Core Yoga #1 -20 minutes. It`s quite challenging, especially at first, but a good, quick workout.
By Olesya | Thursday, September 13, 2007
This is a great class and I definitely recommend it. The flow is not boring and fast moving – very unique and different from what’s out there in terms of combination of the poses and transition from one pose to the other. Very well thought through, this class will keep you in a great shape. Dawnelle is a very talented teacher. The quality of the audio is excellent.

I have been doing this class every other day for the past month. All of my clothes fit better, I have more energy and feel stronger. I even fit into a size smaller swimsuit on my last vacation! This is a great class and at a length that I can easily fit into my busy schedule.

Great workout - easy to follow with clear instruction and great accompanying pose guide. Highly recommended.

My husband and I recently tried the `Yoga for back pain` program. It fits very well with his chiropractors recommendations and we both feel better for it.
Yoga download is a great place to get routines to add variety to any yoga regime.
Thank you

I thouroughly enjoyed your latest 20 minute class. I am a certified teacher and would recommend that for people who want to get into Yoga, or just have a break in the day, but don`t have time for much. It was alot packed in 20 minutes.
Sincerely,
Elle Baird

Great diverse class... moves quickly and without realizing it, your 1 hour yoga is done for the day!I felt so energetic after the class, the rest of the day was great!
By jenni4 | Thursday, September 6, 2007
This was quite a challenging 45 min. I was so sore the next day, but it was that good kinda sore that you get have having done a really great work out.

The 20 minute class is perfect for when I`m rushing to work, and need the energy and centering of a short, well rounded yoga class. I feel I get a lot of benefit in a very short, convenient amount of time. Thanks!

Having neglected my yoga practice since my daughter`s birth two years ago this class was a challenging and invigorating way to pick-up where I left off. The class was challenging, but gave me plenty of opportunities to explore the sensations that occurred during my practice.
