I like this class. Some of the poses were accessible for me, suggestions for modifications would be appreciated!

Challenging! Lots of eagle arms, good back strengthening, sweaty and stretched. Good for focus!

Lovely class. I feel so open afterwards. Found crow to tripod difficult but you ve got to start somewhere, hence gives me something to work on.

great workout and I enjoyed the flow. It was challenging and I would think this should be an intermediate to advanced label. The crow to tripod and float back to chaturanga is a big challenge to label as intermediate. Also the side plank variations were pretty advanced. I just modified as needed. Also before the deep plow sequence at the end needed more back warm up first.

Challenging flow. I liked it and did the best I could but I think it was advanced, not intermediate. Some of the transitions were awkward.

This is a challenging class. I mean, really, there are side planks built into the flow.
Pros:
Makes me sweat and feels like a good workout
Challenged me to try some new poses
The model is super skilled
Cons:
Many transitions in this flow were awkward
I wasn t sure why we were doing some of the poses the way we were
Many poses needed more cuing, or invitations for modifications
This could be a pro or a con, but the instructor was very matter-of-fact. I would ve liked more encouragement or positive intention.

An excellent challenging flow that continually evolves into a full eagle sequence. This class was totally what I needed tonight, something to get me out of my mind and into my body and spirit. Channing offers up and down levels for the harder poses (like crow to tripod) and I appreciate the challenges she offers! Highly recommended.

This was a great challenging power vinyasa class. You would need to be more advanced to do some of the poses . The sequencing was great and cues were clear. I definitely felt challenged and worked out after this class.

One of the best classes ever! Very fun, challenging, and so informative and helpful for my practice. Since when is an intermediate class supposed to be not difficult? All yoga is hard. :) Love Channing and the model was awesome, too!!

Like others I did not feel this was an intermediate class. I was NOT expecting crow and tripod and there were no options offered. I had to stop half way through (27 - toe holding side plank) as this was way too advanced for me. I continued to watch the class and Michelle is certainly supple, agile and amazing to watch but I didn t get the impression of enjoyment from either instructor or student. Not having a body anything like Michelle s intimidated me which is not usually how I feel watching a class.

This class felt far too advanced to be called Intermediate. It wasn t a class that I could say I enjoyed. Can t put my finger on why - maybe the poses were too advanced for me, the teachers voice was too monotone or the sequence didn t flow well enough. I still got a good workout though and although I probably wouldn t do this class again I don t feel the hour was wasted.

Good workout. Lacks cues to transition into some poses that are not intuitive or easy and could cause injuries. For example flipping dog to wheel to downdog, how do you transition? Some of the name given to poses such as dead bug are not the typical name, happy baby. The workout and sequence however is a nice challenge.

I have done many of your advanced intermediate classes and today wanted something a little more moderate. This was one of the most challenging flows and should be put in the advanced intermediate category.

Great class, some parts are definitely pushing up into advanced but very challenging and exploratory. I found the class to have a nice pace, flow and progressiveness. Instruction was clear and concise. The balancing transitions were challenging for me but obtainable. I will definitely put this one in my library.

Great flow with gradual adding on including crow into tripod. I found this challenging and I was not bored as others indicated. I also enjoyed the excellent stretching exercises at the end of the class. Thank you

Really loved the class - instructions and comments are spot on, flow is excellent and wonderful voice!

Nice class. Channing is very calm and soothing with her voice and cues. Just when I was getting a bit bore with the flow it ended and we moved into some nice balances with eagle arms.

Explanation of poses is really great. Easy to follow, and smooth transitions. Some of the poses are quite challenging, but you are given enough time to adjust into them at your own pace.

This is a wonderful class. I love the sequencing - flow. Beautiful transitions mixed with challenges for the intermediate practicioner. Thank you.

had to look at the screen a few times to figure out what to do, but otherwise instruction was very good.
Started to get a little bored with same flow, but right then she changed it, so timing was good. All around very good program.

Great class, I just wish there were modifications for the harder poses so I can work my way up to them (I know, I know, this is not intended as an intro class). Otherwise, I really liked her style and the pace.

The beat yet. Just what I like. Would love for it to be a little faster too

I really liked the flow aspect of the class, very nicely done. I also liked the instruction and the theme of calm strength. My only criticism is that this is reported as a level 2 class, but uses a crow into tripod as part of a flow sequence (so there is not much time to get in and out of the poses). I consider that to be a more advanced move, and so I would rate the difficulty of this class as higher than it claims to be.

Great flow and challenging poses. I will come back to this one and try to master these.

This, and all of Channing s classes are so wonderful. She teaches me at least one if not ten new things, each time I practice. And, for that I am grateful. Please add more of her classes!

Crazy great! This class truly keeps you focused and in the moment while calling on your inner strength and power. After so long my mind does still wander in many classes but not this one. If you are someone that thinks you are not great at balancing this class IS for you. I see Channings name and can t wait to try a class... and this is why!

Loved the creativity with eagle arms and the warrior sequence. Very challenging, yet accessible to most.

I really appreciated this course as a self proclaimed advanced beginner (lol) I felt like I could actually keep up. Is tht good or bad? It was not easy by any means but I appreciated the challenge better than I have in other courses.
Try for yourself :)

Your mind is so focused on the balancing poses that your brain gets an hour-long break from thinking about "life". It s not until your arms and legs start shaking that you realize what a great workout you ve gotten. And by the end, you feel like your body has gotten a massage (due to the smart stretches she included throughout). 60 min classes are treat for me, and this class lives up to it!

Great class, excellent cueing..and challenging! There s a lot of opportunity to grow, and a few poses that aren t accessible to me yet, but I definitely want to come back and keep trying!

Since my first Channing class a few months ago, the only thing I wonder when visiting yoga download is "When will they add a new Channing class? I ve downloaded all six of them and could use 20 more. More Channing please!!!!
Her classes are so close to what I think an ideal yoga class should be.... Fluid flow, challenging, good cuing without too much instruction, great pace with the breath, calm voice. I wish l lived by her studio.
It s great watching Michelle too!
