This challenge is suitable for all levels - beginner to advanced. Each day will have a beginner friendly class option along with a more advanced option for more seasoned practitioners. This challenge will create growth and evolution, both on and off the mat, for all genders, body types, and level of practitioner.

Welcome to Day 9 of the Yoga for All / 2-Week Challenge!

Today's classes are both focused on strength. One is more about physical strength, and the other is more about mental and emotional toughness - both are essential. Yoga can teach us that both physical and mental well-being are connected and complementary. By strengthening your body, you also strengthen your mind. A strong and healthy mind is also ripe for a healthy body.

Today's classes are a little longer than on previous days. It's part of the challenge. If you've gotten comfortable always choosing the shorter class, today is a good day to lengthen your practice. It will only make you stronger! Enjoy the challenge!

Power Yoga for a Healthy Back with Kristin Gibowicz

Experts estimate that as much as 80% of the population will experience a back problem at some time in their lives. While there can be many reasons for back pain, the most common is mechanical. Yoga can bring awareness to proper body mechanics, strengthen your core and release tension to maintain a healthy back. Join Kristin for a customized, full-body, core-strenghthening, feel good, power yoga class. With the power of breath as the anchor, this class is one you'll come back to often!

Empower Yourself:

Empowerment Flow 1: I Think I Can

60 minute class | Level: Intermediate | intensity: You'll Feel It

When faced with life's challenges it's all too easy to shrink into fear, avoidance, or doubt. The truth is that we often forget just how strong and mighty we are! Let this challenging and empowering flow remind you that you CAN make it to the top of the mountain - at your own pace, in your own way, with confidence and practice! This warming class includes lots of flow, single-leg balancing, Crow Pose with a optional Firefly Pose, as well as many other powerful postures. You can do it, one step at a time!
