oh. em. gee. this was exactly what my achy hips needed!!! I felt pops and creaks where I hadn t felt in ages - full-on symphony of opening. I swear I could hear my fascia screaming at me, then groaning in sweet relief. Or maybe that was me? It s a good thing I practice at home alone, with only my dogs to give me the suspicious eye.
I ve been less mobile since I fell on my knee pretty hard about a month ago, the soft tissue is still healing and I knew I needed to open my hips to give my knees some freedom and support. I made sure to listen to my body and pad the crap out of that leg. That being said, it was physically a lot for me, and at times I wish she was even slower with her cues. I had to start and stop a few times just to go deeper. No shame on her or this class, my body just wanted more.
Classes like these make me feel like a completely different person and I am so grateful for such a great class.

This is an amazing class if you want to get into your hips. My hips are always my tight area, and this class used some poses I have used before (cow-face, standing figure 4) but also had takes I had not tried. She encouraged flow and movement also. I have added this to my favorites and would highly recommend it!

Wow! Challenging for these 70+ yr.old hips . Great for post hiking day . Enjoyed the balance portions too. A very good mix of postures.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED It! New and interesting postures/sequences. Kristin s positive and encouraging words definitely made a difference during the postures that I struggled with today.

Kristin s classes are always interesting and different. I appreciate her creativity. This was perfectly paced. Easy to modify when necessary (which it was for me at times) .Lots of positive energy.

Slow, which is good for me since I am having back pain, but not easy flow. This class is resistance to build muscles around hips as well as mobility. I feel it! Thank you.

OK, I certainly used my hips and am sure I will feel that tomorrow. This is a very well put together, at times challenging, workout for all parts of the hip with some new to me transitions and holds. Thank you
