Really nice paced flow--not trying to rush through anything; good instruction as well. Thanks!

Great challenge for the day, and just what my hips needed. Look forward to using this class again in the future and seeing progress on the more challenging poses.

challenging class

I was glad to see this class as one of today s Yoga Challenge classes Day 6! I have gone back to this class many times since I first downloaded it years ago. Well rounded with all the things I love: hip and heart openers with some hamstring attention. Thank you

Wow. Definitely worked up a sweat. Some challenging poses for but I know if I keep coming back it ll get easier over time.

I did this class again today after just doing shorter classes for quite a while and was thrilled to remind myself how great I feel after a long yoga class. Couple of the poses were a little challenging but practice makes perfect right?

Lovely slow flowing class. lost me at compass - but that always seems to happen :)
By Emarron | Sunday, December 18, 2016
Good pace, slow repetitive flows that really allow a meditative feel and a deep burn

Enjoyable class and easy to follow along with. Only thing I found difficult was the compass so was grateful for the alternative. The end was a bit of a shock - had barely laid down when she said namaste and was off! So watch out for that if you re expecting a soothing savasana.

What an awesome class, I loved it. Exactly what my runner s hips needed. Lisa is a good instructor, not too chatty like some other instructors

This is a really good opening practice without being too vigorous. Lisa provides good cueing. I did get a little tired of the repetitive sequences. And I could do without all of the life lessons commentary.

I don t consider myself an advanced yogi, even though I have been practice for 18 years. I was apprehensive about taking this class, but I have really tight hamstrings. I was won over when she told me to be happy that my heels can t touch the floor during downward dog, and after that I was hooked and would go anywhere with Lisa. The class was challenging but doable, with great instruction and accessible modifications. This may be my favorite yoga download class!

Amazing deliberate/moderate flow wholly focused on the lower body. And while it s slow, it s certainly does not lack for intensity.

Love this one. Actually opened the hips and thighs in a wonderful way!

great hip and hamstring opener. instructor give clear cues.

Great class! I will be coming back to this one. I liked the mix of careful instruction and flow. It was also really neat how the routine circled back to the beginning, so that the same pose feels different by the end. This is the first class I have tried from Lisa, but I will be trying more!

This class is okay...but it depends on what you re looking for. It s rather slow moving, though still intense. Not what I was hoping for, but I think people would love it if you re looking for deep and slow yoga.

I m a runner. This class loosened up my legs so so well. Totally recommend for anyone with tight hamstrings.

Love this class. Cueing is great. You move through neck rolls, a few vinyasas, figure 4 cradle, crow, warrior 1 & 2. And Warrior 3 with eagle arms. Side angle stretch; runners lunge; a few child s poses, bridge & spinal twist. I worked up a sweat and felt great at the end. Namaste

This is a beautiful class! Feels so good after a week of lots of driving.

Really well paced, with easily understood cuing. There is, at times a lack of scaling for some of the asanas. While the pace is slow this class terminates with a very challenging asana, so it is not a beginner class. I really enjoy this teacher :)

Really dug it. Definitely a lower body focus, great for hip strengthening. No chaturangas in the vinyasas so this is a great class when you want to give your shoulders a break, and still have a powerful flow.

This is definitely a keeper. I LOVED every moment of this practice. It challenged me in every way and invigoriated my body and mind.

This class was easy and enjoyable to follow. I appreciated the challenge of the compass pose; a new one for me. Thanks!

Excellent, really great after a 3 mile run. :)

Simply great class. I have never taken one from this instructor before and I can t wait to try another. She cues perfectly, paces you in a challenging way but not too fast and talks just enough. Great class!

This class was awesome, great flow and stretch for legs.

Lisa Richards has always been one of my very favorite instructors on this site, and I was excited to see a new class from her. It s great! It has an excellent pace that gives you time to be mindful in the poses, while the class overall is a good challenge. Thanks!

Lovely class! Good workout if you want something more not too intense but still challenging.

Great instruction. Perfect 50 minute practice.
By AJ | Thursday, October 31, 2013
Fastest 50 minute class ever. Not once was I checking how much longer. It flowed beautifully, and the compass pose was attainable without overwhelming. She stretched the body nicely in preparation for the more challenging poses.

Great hip openers...soothing voice! I really enjoyed this class and worked up a nice little sweat. Will be checking out other classes by this instructor.

Excellent class. She did a wonderful job with transitions and the flow was great as well. If there were 10stars I could give her she deserves it. Great class. Instructions were perfect and preparation into each pose.

I m an athlete as well as a business owner. The challenge to keep my hips loose is always great. This class will take me a long way to meeting this challenge.

Great class! I read the reviews before doing the class and was expecting it to feel harder while doing... well, the next day I knew I had worked my muscles really well! I think I m just used to faster-paced vinyasa-style classes. This class really was well-sequenced and the end pose was challenging and fun to try! I will definitely be doing this class again!
By Lori Strand | Tuesday, May 7, 2013
It was a mindful, well cued class! I will be doing it again soon...
By Shar | Monday, April 15, 2013
Good solid class: I like the way Lisa walks you though to some hard poses step by step. An excellent challenging workout in 50 minutes.

What a terrific class! I love Lisa and have introduced her classes to several of my colleagues who consistently ask to do her classes again (here at our work). As usual, we start out slow and steady to warm up but compared to previous classes, I knew we were in for some excitement when we did standing splits so early ;) I won t spoil this review with the ultimate pose we work up to, but it s a goody! And I was warm and open enough to enter into it, although there could have been a few more deep hip openers and/or side stretches I think to be ready for it :) Still, definitely a class I will come back to again and again - this one made me sweat more than the others, even though we seemed to move more slowly and hold poses longer - thank you Lisa and Anna!

I am so happy to see another class from Lisa! I really love her other classes, but I have done them so many times I can recite them by heart. So it s great to have a new one, and it doesn t disappoint. This class is moderate in pace, and has a good balance between flows and deep stretches. You won t find a pigeon or double pigeon pose among the hip openers (which happen to be among my favourites), but you will get a great hip and hamstring opening. Lisa is also great in reminding you throughout the practice to honour tight hamstrings, rather than pushing to discomfort. This will definitely become part of my regular rotation.
