Good class with Kristin. Too bad the annoying soundtrack makes you lose your concentration… I was not able to keep my concentration and hence my balance through the faster reps.

Rolled out the mat at home for Day 2 and loved Kristin's Mindful Transitions Class. It's such a wonderful pace and she really gives you time to feel each pose and focus on the process. Not just going through the motions! Loved Day 2.

Did Shannon's class and it was so restful.

Avatar  Niki 1 days ago

I loved Kristen's mindful transitions class! A creative flow that illustrated the theme very well, and sweatier than I expected, which was a welcome surprise.

Avatar  katiemayo 1 days ago

I really enjoyed the slower pace today

Avatar  Emma 1 days ago

These have all been great! I just finished mindful transitions and am excited to try mindful healing

Avatar  carolyn 1 days ago

Loved Shannon's class. I really enjoy a slower paced class that is also challenging.

Avatar  Tracy 1 days ago

Good flow. I LOVE these challenges because it forces me to try new classes. There is always something to learn, try and add to your practice. Great class for working on balance and transition.

Avatar  zenflow731 1 days ago

Twisted and stretched by body in ways I really needed. I m leaving my mat with a sense of peace, great day 2 of the new year :)

Avatar  Sue Ann 1 days ago

Kirsten is the Best! I just retired in December (a tough change!) so this routine on transitions was PERFECT and just what I needed. Thanks so much💝

Avatar  Oralee 1 days ago

Mindful Motion with Shannon Paige found some pretty tight spots in my sides. Shannon spoke a little fast for such slow paced movements, but the stretches were nice.

Avatar  4kee 1 days ago

Great class!

Avatar  Robin 1 days ago

Wow. Mindful Motion for Healing was exactly what I needed, when I needed it. Home after an exhausting 14-hr day, tempted to blow off the challenge, but hated to drop the ball on Day 2. Now, even though it's 10:40 p.m., I feel like a new person. Can't wait to explore this instructor's other classes.

Avatar  Kellie 1 days ago

Hey, Kellie from Redding,CA. Day 2 I went for Mindful Motion For Healing, I was okay for 20 mins in I felt I couldn’t keep up, I was feeling weak, I find it harder for me some days and other I’m better! I’m to stiff early in morning and mid day I’m busy so I’ve been trying evening! Having RA is challenging so I don’t push too hard or I’ll regret it! I do like the challenge even if I get through most of class!

Avatar  Marina Stanger 1 days ago

I tried Shannon’s class today. I am a little sore from yesterday’s class, so this was a good choice because it was slow and focused. I really liked the toe balance! I have never had that pose in a class before and it was fun to try it out. I wasn’t too shabby at it!
Very mellow day 2!

Avatar  Desyree 1 days ago

It was hard to choose today but I wanted something with more movement, so chose the mindful transition flow. It was amazing! I really love the different transitions. I will come back to this class for sure.

Avatar  Jovi k 1 days ago

I chose the Mindful Transitions Flow class, and I had a great experience! I felt really good moving from pose to pose. It was quite meaningful to start the year with a class that invited us to think about transition and movement.

Avatar  Sarah hISTAND 1 days ago

Another helpful stretch session after a long day of walking! Feeling much more mobile and grounded. Thanks Shannon!

Avatar  Andie 2 days ago

I chose Shannon’s class as I always try to take advantage of trying out different instructors offered during these challenges. My goal was to wind down this evening. The slower pace was enjoyable as well as a couple of poses that were new to me. I did feel a nice stretch for my back which felt great.

Avatar  Elizabeth 2 days ago

Shannon's Mindful Motion for Healing was a beautiful way to wind down before bed after a hectic day. I especially loved the balancing toes pose and will look to incorporate this into my future practices more often. Looking forward to Day 3!

Avatar  TJ 2 days ago

After already taking an intense Pilates class this morning, I chose “Mindful Motion for Healing" with Shannon Paige to be more gentle on my body and wind down my day. A perfect way to relax into my evening. I loved the slower and more mindful movement, truly calming my mind and releasing the tension of the day. I’ll be adding this class to my favorites! Thank you.

Avatar  Vicky 2 days ago

I decided to do “fusion flow:lower body”. I wanted more of a flow with a 30 minute time limit. This was the perfect flow to do after the Christmas break. I felt energized with the flow and the power of the weights.

Avatar  Kathy 2 days ago

I chose Kristin's Mindful Transition Flow class tonight and really enjoyed the flow as well as her message. She always has great messages throughout her practices. Namaste.

Avatar  Nathalie 2 days ago

For the scond day of this challenge experience, I went for the "Mindful Transitions Flow" with Kristin Gibowicz. I found this Vinyasa class very challenging; I sweated a lot through it – and I even started to feel very much hungry mid-session! But I absolutely loved it and I will definitely do this yoga flow again! I am feeling like my body is going through a lot of (much needed) physical and spiritual cleaning! Namaste and thank you 🏵️🙏🏽💖 (and sorry I sent this comment one first time – while it was still incomplete 😅)

Back to work today so chose Shannon’s Mindful Movement to wind down. Less talking would have been more relaxing, IMO. Finished with legs up the wall.

Avatar  Haley 2 days ago

My energy was quite low all day, and I honestly didn't want to get on my mat tonight. I showed up and did the mindful flow since that was where my energy was at. While I'm still quite tired, my body feels more at peace and relaxed than when I started. Really proud of myself for committing to myself today.

My friend Jen and I have challenged each other to get full use of our yogadownload memberships for a couple years now. . We purchased our first subscription on the same day, and have since shared names of workouts we have enjoyed and ensured that we have purchased our subscription before it runs out. I contemplated doing the January 2025 challenge, but it was Jen joining the challenge that made me sign up. Tonight, I texted Jen to see if she had done Day 2–yep, she had! So, because of her, I am getting ready to hit play on my Day 2 yoga workout!
Yogadownload is the best subscription I own!

Avatar  Brandie 2 days ago

Starting the Mindful Motion class, I was fighting myself to begin. Once I finished, I felt more relaxed and less stressed..

Avatar  SandyC 2 days ago

Mindful Focus for Healing by Shannon was exactly what I needed today. Fantastic flow to calm your mind to focus forward. Before class my mind was all over the place. Now my mind and body are now aligned to move forward. Wow...Definitely added this to my favorites. Namaste.

Avatar  Andrea 2 days ago

Mindful Motions was more challenging for me than I expected but in a good way. And at some point during the class I forgot all about everything that happened today, and the things I still need to do tonight, and I was truly in the present moment.

Avatar  Erin 2 days ago

Shannon’s class was a perfect way to wind down after a long day. Really enjoying the class selections so far!

Avatar  Tara 2 days ago

Really enjoyed the mindful motion today. Just what I needed!

I took Shannon's class today since I have already done Kristin's class (and really liked it). Found it was a nice chance to focus on basic postures in some calming stretches.

Avatar  Pat 2 days ago

I chose Kristin's Mindful transitions today. Always interested in improving functional movement. I enjoyed the class

Avatar  Molly Hicks 2 days ago

Today was my first day back at work in a few weeks and I’ve been a giant stress ball. Shannon’s class was so perfect and so relaxing after my day. I really enjoyed it.

Yoga Challenge with Post-Surgery Knee, Day 2: After some thought, I decided to do Jackie's "Freedom Flow" from yesterday's choices. Since it's a favorite of mine, I thought it was one that I could modify and complete. It went pretty well. There were certain things I skipped (pigeon, dragon/curtsy squat), but I surprised myself with what I could do! So that's a win!
Plus, my body feels better. I've been afraid to move certain ways, but I'm doing more than I expected. I'm thankful for the challenge!
From the comments, I think I need to add Mindful Motion for Healing in my "classes to try" category.

A great Mindful Motion class for day 2. Surprisingly harder than I expected but probably just what I needed. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Avatar  Trice 2 days ago

Did Kristen’s class this morning and loved it. The transitions were a great flow for me. I was able to listen and follow instructions easily which let me concentrate and get into the poses and the moments. Great class. Will be doing again! 😊

Avatar  Bettye 2 days ago

Mindful Motion for Healing was an excellent yoga class to begin the new year. Enjoyed it.

Avatar  Geraldine Smyth 2 days ago

Chose Shannon's class today which I'd never done before. I found it quite challenging and would have appreciated options particularly for the feet together squat balance on toes with knees out to the side. My knees just don't work like that!

Avatar  Mindy 2 days ago

I did Elise’s class from yesterday “reset refuge”. Lovely class. I definitely need daily yoga in my life!

Avatar  Susan 2 days ago

Great balance class with clear cues and very nice paced! Enjoy Kristin classes most of her classes!

Avatar  Jennifer 2 days ago

Kristin's class was a great reminder about how foundational a strong transitional movement can be. I really enjoyed it and felt challenged by it.

Avatar  Nikki 2 days ago

Ahhhh! I needed that stretch after crazy holiday stress. Thank you and I might do it again layer today it eas so relaxing

Avatar  Jennifer A. 2 days ago

Wonderful start to the day with Kristen. I feel more confident in my transitions after this grounding class

Avatar  Sabrina Reynolds 2 days ago

Today I did Shannon’s Mindful Motion for Healing and I loved, loved, loved it! I can tell I am currently going through some sort of change or transformation because I have been feeling “off”. With the start of this new year my mind has been going and lots of different things are moving through. It’s been challenging as I have felt some sadness and confusion about my life and friendships and my relationships with people. But I know the only constant is change and I look forward to see what comes out of these feelings. The Universe always has our backs! Namaste 🙌🏽✨🧘🏾‍♀️

Avatar  Jamillah 2 days ago

I enjoyed the Mindful Transitions Flow class today - was a fun flow with a bit of challenge and included my favorite pose (dancer). Thank you!

...and I'm tuning in from Raleigh-Durham, NC :)

Avatar  Mimi 2 days ago

One thing I love about the yoga challenges is finding new teachers. This was my first time with Shannon. It was slow and mindful but still challenging and fresh. My back stopped screaming at me forgot so that's a win. Also loved the breathing with savasana. Great yoga morning!

Avatar  Heather R 2 days ago

Mindful Motion was awesome, different moves, still a lot of core and back effort. Good balance of mental and physical.

Avatar  MPYoga 2 days ago

Today, I picked Shannon's class. I have not taken any classes with Shannon before. It was a lovely, gentle, calming class.

Avatar  Amy 2 days ago

Mindful Motion was fantastic. Gentle and focused, which is what I needed. Even if my cat decided he needed to 'check on me' during savasana.

Avatar  EmmaS 2 days ago

My back is back! I did the Mindful Motion after three (3!) short strength workouts in a row (arms, legs & abs). Felt good!!!

Avatar  Debbie 2 days ago

Thanks Shannon. Great present practice to start my day.

Avatar  Andrea Ward 2 days ago

I did Kristen’s class today and really enjoyed it. I really liked the “awkward” transitions and how those helped me focus. Thanks for a great class.

Avatar  Heidi Gmail 2 days ago

I did mindful motion . Was different poses then I’m used to- nice change!

Avatar  Katie 2 days ago

Mindful transition flow was the class that I picked. It was invigorating, smooth, and fun.

Avatar  Megs 2 days ago

Loved Kristins class today. I really enjoyed working through the different transitions as that is usually my least developed area in yoga. Ready for day 3 now!

Avatar  Elissa 2 days ago

Kristen's class was excellent. I enjoyed all the sequences. Playful and purposeful

Avatar  Jennie 2 days ago

I was tried this morning and did Shannon's class. The detailed cueing made it interesting and I enjoyed the breathwork during savasana. I didn't realize how sore my neck was until I began the class, but it feels so much better now.

Avatar  rcowin 2 days ago

Kristin's class was perfect today.I started my yoga journey many years ago with anusara, but it's been a while (over a year) since I practiced so this grounding in where to have the muscular energy and mindfully transitioning to protect your body, joints, and get the full benefits of the practice was great. I also really liked the transition theme given the new year.

Avatar  EE 2 days ago

Chose Kristin's class and wow those Transitions were different for sure! It was so much fun though and I loved the flow. So proud that I showed up for myself two days in a row - looking forward to tomorrow already.

Avatar  Linda 2 days ago

I have never done a class with Shannon so I gave it a try today. I really struggled with the mindfulness of it but that is a weakness of mine. I needed something restful today because I am feeling sore and not up to anything strenuous, so this fit the bill. I did find the cues to be a little much, I had trouble following all of the things we were supposed to be doing.

Avatar  Kathryn 2 days ago

First, I want to say that I am so happy for this challenge coming up at a time when I am really focusing on making some positive, healthy changes in my life.
Today, I chose the all levels class, and I was frequently concerned that I had chosen the higher level class. The seated and standing balances seemed a bit advanced to me. I was able to make it through, however, and enjoyed Shannon's original and creative approach.

Avatar  Simona 2 days ago

Day two challenge: new poses for me. I love today's class.

Avatar  Kim 2 days ago

Shannon's class was just what I needed to start the day!

Avatar  Macsek 2 days ago

Day two practice. Was an easy one. Maybe a bit too much mindfulness for me a but I definitely need some more healing, so I don’t mind to have a bit more slower yoga with less movement, as I need to be patient with myself.

Avatar  mabestco 3 days ago

I did both Jackie's and Elise's classes this morning. They are both great teachers that I have been following for almost 15 years on this site!

Avatar  beer 3 days ago

Thank you for a great start to the New Year.
