Day 10 - 2-Week Vibration & Creation New Years Challenge

Day 10 - 2-Week Vibration & Creation New Years Challenge

Welcome to Day 10 of our 2-Week Vibration & Creation New Year's Challenge!

Friday, January 10th

Imagine this: you pause in the morning, middle of a busy day, or take a break after completing your to-do list, giving yourself the gift of movement and mindfulness. Today’s classes are here to help you reconnect, release tension, and recharge—whenever and however your schedule allows.

Here’s the class options: "Easy Evening Yoga 1" with Keith: A 30-minute all-levels class designed to help you release stress and find calm, perfect for winding down or resetting anytime, or "Qi Yoga" with Kylie: Choose from 20-60 minutes of intermediate-level movement, a unique flow to invigorate your body and harmonize your mind.

Whether you’re looking for relaxation or an energizing flow, today’s practice is an opportunity to prioritize yourself and keep building your momentum. You’re doing incredible work—keep it up! 🌟

Here are today's class options:

Easy Evening Yoga 1 with Keith Allen

30 min class

Level:  Adv. Beginner & Up| Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Unwind in this yoga session targeted to release tightness and stiffness for the evening hours, where gentle postures, deep stretches, and mindful breathing provide a break to enhance your overall well-being to conclude your day with tranquility.

This class can also be a great gentle stretch anytime of day, whenever you're in need.

Qi Yoga with Kylie Larson

20-60 min classes

Level: Intermediate | Intensity: You'll Feel It

This Qi Vinyasa Yoga class offers a refreshing change from many of the other power yoga classes brought to you by YogaDownload. You won't be doing the typical Sun Salutation A series, but will be taken through a creative and challenging flow that will leave you feeling like you combined a bit of strength training with your yoga practice. This class is medium-paced and will work to build muscle tone along with flexibility, without the use of weights. Qi Yoga is a style that combines focus on alignment with creative sequencing that is designed to increase strength and flexibility in a harmonious and balanced way.

*you only need to choose one class

**If you're feeling in the mood for something different you can choose any of our free classes on our site (or any other class you'd like!). The most important thing is to show up and get on your mat!

The 25 min Qi Yoga class was my choice today as I'm still trying to take it a bit easy due to back/sciatic pain. I appreciate the extra tidbits and reminders in this class of how to do very common poses, which I may have forgotten over the years. As a 'why' person, thank you for those details and reminders!

Squeezed in a quick hamstring practice with Kristen Boyle and then did a meditation before bed.

Did Keith's class before going to bed last night. Afterwards, I was too tired and relaxed to post.

Yay! Day 10 of Yoga for my Post-Surgery Knee: Good news-- the angle my knee can bend went from 120 degrees last week to 123 degrees this week! I do think that challenging myself with yoga has helped. woo hoo! I look forward to the day when I can do a deep child's pose or sit back on my heels.
I would LOVE to do Keith's class today, but it looks like almost all of it will be things I have to skip or modify like crazy. So I'm going to do an old stand by: Rid Yourself of Back Pain: An Essential Sequence with Alanna Kaivalya. I might even do Stability Practice with Caitlin Rose Kenney because I'm feeling the need to work my core and get my balance back!!

Keith's class was exactly what I needed this evening. Mellow, move the body but not too much and go inward. It was already in my favorites and for a reason!

I tried Kylie's 25 minute Qi Yoga option. The video edits were a little choppy since she was describing the work done for the longer class instead of the edited down version, but side crow hopped right in there and was fun to try. Apparently doing yoga consistently for some time has helped enough to get a few seconds of side crow balance, which is delightful! I wasn't able to do that back in December, so my strength has improved. Love it!

Added Keith’s class to favorites! It was time wonderfully spent easing tension after a long day. It was nice to listen to birds chirping during shavasana.

I did Jackie's Sunset Slow Flow tonight, as I had a super busy day. Jackie's classes always help me to find grace and focus.

I enjoyed Keith's Easy Evening Yoga and found myself envious of the location he did this practice. What I wouldn't give to be doing yoga in the sun while the birds are singing and with a pond in the background. Just made the class more visually pleasing and relaxing. Thank you.

I did Keiths class tonight. Loved every minute of it. I'm so relaxed, will definitely be doing that one again

I did Keith's class tonight and it was a great way to unwind after a long day. I enjoyed the gentle flow. Definitely almost fell asleep in savasana. Namaste

Keith's class was a great way to unwind after a long day.

Easy evening yoga 1 today was a great way to unwind.

Well, I believe the most calming phrase in the English language must be “we will begin in child’s pose“😌 between Keith’s ultra, soothing voice and the cute little birds twittering away, I was completely blissed out in no time. This one’s going in my favorites and props to whomever is curating these choices. I feel like they are delivering exactly what my body and mind needs right now.
Plus, I want to live in that little cabin!! 😍

Keith’s class was needed for my hips.

I chose Keith’s class today because I’m sick but still wanted some movement. His class gave me the opportunity to do some gentle movements that was within my ability for the day. Thank you for a great class

Avatar  Lisa 3 days agoReply

Qi Vinyasa Yoga gave helpful instructions and tips to deepen the poses and get the most out of the class. I also liked the options to select the class length!

Keith's class was very relaxing and a good end to my day.

Keith’s class was great for a relaxing evening yoga session. Was so needed!!!

Avatar  Sarah 3 days agoReply

I circled back to Claire's Yin for Creativity since I have some creation I need to do today. Feeling looser and hoping the inspiration comes!

Avatar  Jennie 3 days agoReply

I chose Keith's new class, Shoulder, Neck, & Upper Back Yoga since I've had a knot in my neck muscle the past few days. Lots of great post-work stretches!

Avatar  Nikki 3 days agoReply

I did Keith's class in sticking with my keep it easy strategy, and I am learning so much about myself and learning to slow down and relax. I can feel the changes in my body from these classes that focus on slowing down and holding the stretch

Avatar  Mindy 3 days agoReply

I did Keith’s Easy Evening Yoga and it was perfect for how I was feeling today. A little bit of bronchitis & chest cough, so the “easy” part was necessary. Thank you!

Avatar  Erin 3 days agoReply

Keith’s class was a perfect way to wind down after work!

Avatar  Niki 3 days agoReply

I did Kylie's hour long class today. It was a great strength challenge and I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow!

Day 10 with Kylie Larson 35 minutes. Great yoga class, thank you Kylie

Avatar  Melly 3 days agoReply

i did the Qi Yoga 20 min class because of time. i liked that you can pick the one that best fits your time.

Avatar  Robin 3 days agoReply

I did the Easy Evening class this morning and enjoyed it. This one may become an after-work staple when the challenge ends. Feeling a bit stronger each day, so downloaded the Qi Yoga class to try later.

Avatar  MPYoga 3 days agoReply

Today, I did Keith's class. I always enjoy Keith's classes and I liked this one as well. I am enjoying all the classes with longer holds and stretching in this challenge.

Avatar  Susan 3 days agoReply

I took the Qi class by Kylie for the first time and I enjoyed the flow. It’s a bit different than her other classes but I still get a good workout and stretches. I may try the other Qi classes in the future. Thanks!

Avatar  TJ 3 days agoReply

Although an evening yoga practice, I chose to start my day with Keith’s class. I loved the poses and the message. It feels wonderful to start my day feeling so light and positive. Thank you!

Avatar  Tory 3 days agoReply

Keith's class today was really nice. I wanted a stretch before the gym and this did the trick, though I think I'd like it better in the evening, as advertised. Thanks for the great class!

Avatar  linda 3 days agoReply

I just completed day 10 of the 14 day challenge with Keith Allen. I did the Easy Evening Yoga 1. Yes, this would be a great class to wind down in the evening. But, I completed it this morning for a good morning stretch before my long busy day. Perfect!

Avatar  Mimi 3 days agoReply

I love Kylie's cueing and reminders! Of course I modified, and had a wonderful wake up work up! Om shanti

Avatar  Macsek 3 days agoReply

I chose the 25 minute Qi yoga for today. Nice little movement in this hectic day.

Avatar  SandyC 3 days agoReply

Happy Friday! Happy with both options today. Keith's class is always a good one as I've practiced it on my mat before. So today I chose to practice Qi Yoga with Kylie. First time with Kylie and I chose the 20min (actually 25min) class. I enjoyed it it very much. Instruction with breath and poses really guided me in my practice. Next time I will try a longer one. I've added both class options to my favorites and definitely will continue practicing on my mat after this challenge. Make today a great day! Namaste...

Avatar  Jo 3 days agoReply

I’m doing this class in the morning so wanted to do the Qi yoga; however, I could not stand the hypnotic soundtrack so switched to Keith’s sweet practice. I’ll certainly go back to that one, next time in the evening.

Avatar  EE 3 days agoReply

I picked Qi yoga class and parts of it were challenging for sure but it was so much talking and explanation I felt like for what's supposed to be an intermediate class (maybe I am misremembering it tho). I picked 45 mins and it's 53ish mins (noticed thanks to comments). Just a little too much talking for my liking but it was good to start the day with yoga.

Avatar  Debbie 3 days agoReply

Thanks Keith. I have done that practice many times. I love it. So restoring

Avatar  Tracy 3 days agoReply

Happy Friday Yogi's. I'm always attracted to harder / core classes, so I tried Kylie's Qi Yoga. Nice class Kylie. Much harder than I expected and something for me to work on. I'm thankful for this challenge that pushes me to try new classes and push myself. Thanks!

Avatar  rcowin 3 days agoReply

I enjoy Kylie's classes and I've not tried any versions of Qi yoga so I took that opportunity today. If you choose one of the Qi options, I recommend double checking the length of the class against your schedule before you begin. At least the 2 longer options are about 10 minutes longer than advertised and it isn't due to a super long savasana or something that you might be able to come out of early.

Wonderful time on mat every day, thank you very much!
