I should ve read the description more carefully before doing this class; there was way too much talking for my taste. The instructor s story is important, but I personally don t think a yoga class is the place for talking about much other than yoga. It s distracting and detracts from the benefits of yoga that the instructor sometimes referenced (such as being able to listen to your body). The flow in the beginning was way too fast and could easily lead to injury. All in all, this felt like a mix between a contemporary church service and an aerobics class rather than yoga.

Outlaw yoga is always fast. Great cardio. I’m sure the message helps many. The instructor makes herself vulnerable by telling her story. Long holds at the end. You will sweat. Enjoy!

good cues, but you move way too fast because you are staring at the camera instead of your student. Maybe watch your student and don t talk about body image so much. Who the heck cares about body image.

I disagree with the less than positive reviews. Yes, this is a vigorous fast-paced flow but that is what I ve come to expect from Outlaw Yoga and at times it is exactly what I need. The pace allows me to clear my head from all the noise. Maybe it is because we are in the midst of a nationwide shutdown due to the Covid-19 that my perspective is different, more accepting. I appreciate her honesty with her body-image struggles. That must be challenging for her to share herself so openly. Be kind, be brave, be patient and most of all be loving -- to yourself and others. We need more of that, especially now. Namaste.

This class turned out to be really beautiful (I appreciate the instructor s vulnerability) and kind of fun (with the multiple lion breaths.) Try to push through and get through the first set of yoga pushups - I had to modify and drop to my knees. Then I had to cut out many of the chatarungas and go straight to down dog in some of the sun salutations. The instructor gives no modifications, so I had to figure that out on my own. I paused and almost quit a few times through but am glad I didn t - it is a good class overall, and if you can stick with it, you will probably be glad you did by the end.

Just because the model can do the poses that fast does not mean you should time the workout that fast. Keep it a pace that everyone can enjoy.

Also, I am really sorry you had issues with your eating disorder. This is not the place to lecture on it.
We just want a healthy yoga workout.

I gave up about 15 minutes in because of the pace. I do think form is just as important as function, and this pace does not allow for good form.

At a certain point the cues were way too fast to transition safely and to execute the poses correctly. It became more like a calisthenics class, with absolutely no focus on connecting breath and movement. Also, I get that this style of Yoga is meant to be based around very basic poses, but between the constant repetition of the same poses over and over and the ridiculous speed at which we were instructed to move at, it ended becoming an unpleasant practice which I doubt I ll come back to.

This practice is fast-paced and quite challenging - definitely not for the beginning yoga student. However, although the message revealed by the instructor is important and useful -especially for women in today s society - the talking was way too excessive! The beginning asana move way too quickly -I love power yoga, but there should be a chance to go into the pose completely prior to moving on. The fast pace at the beginning contrasts sharply with the exceptionally slower pace later in the practice when there is a lengthy monologue. Perhaps offer a version with the "message" and one without for those who prefer a practice without excessive dialogue.

This is a WONDERFUL practice. The message behind the practice is amazing and personal to me and my boyfriend, whom is bulimic. Even to those who don t suffer from an eating disorder can take a lot a way from this practice. Not only that, but it s a great workout!

Wonderful practice! If you are familiar with outlaw yoga, the sun salutations and flows are fast paced but its great to get your heart rate up if that is what you are looking for. I agree with the bring a towel rating. I definitely sweat and had some running down my forehead, but didnt get totally soaked through. It was perfect amount of heat. The challenging poses were great, nothing too advanced but still plenty to challenge and push me to get something i have never gotten before. The long hold in half pigeon was the most challenging move of the class. Its so hard! Thank you for a great class. Megan has a great story and message and is inspiring.

I couldn t do more than 20 minutes of this class, I disliked it so much. I really don t see the point of doing yoga if you re rushing through sun salutations like its an aerobics class, what happening to breathing with movement? Given the intensity level I was expecting a yogic workout like Dawnelle Arthur does, but this just felt rushed and pointless.

The message of this practice was really engaging, really impactful. As with other Outlaw Yoga practices, I had to sacrifice some chatarungas, but the music was great and I leave feeling more thoughtful and more focused than I came in.
