Gentle stretching and mobility felt great throughout the back. I need a similar class for the neck. I also enjoyed the alignment pointers that I can take with me throughout my day.

This is a lovely low-key flow (though I feel weird writing that when there were forearm planks involved!). I needed something quick and I didn t have a ton of energy to burn, so this was perfect. Left me feeling pleasantly stretched, but not too loose.
It wasn t much of a "flow," but I think this is a really nice foundation for anyone who is looking for yoga moves that will help build a stronger core/back.

This class is great, I just strained/sprained my lower back AGAIN from going on a massive vacuuming spree. The poses she has us use here felt great and not difficult to do. I did Jackie Casal Mahrou s Daily Decompression video, too, and that one was good as well, I just wish there had been a little more to it! This class I gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I wish Kristin had gone a little slower with this class. She goes fast on the explanation of some of the more unconventional moves and I missed doing them altogether, and when you are having back pain, you don t want to be rapidly moving your back around. If she had gone slower, it would have been 5 stars! I will try again while I am healing!

I threw my back out in February of 2018 from doing a Pilates Reformer class. From doing this class consistently I was able to stop wearing the corset I got in Physical Therapy and ultimately stop my PT. I now do this class when I don t have a lot of time. I do Kristin s other class, Power Yoga for a Healthy Back a few times a week to counteract the sitting at my desk I do all day. Both are wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Good on the whole, but please consider changing the title of this video. A person experiencing actual back pain would not only not be able to do this sequence, but in addition they might do themselves additional harm. These exercises are excellent for maintaining strength and flexibility AFTER you back pain is conquered.

I have struggled with back pain over the years and currently am in a good place, but yoga keeps my that way. This class is a great stretch for all parts of the back. She opens you up in many ways in a short time. It is all levels for sure, but as an termed irate practices I appreciated the focus and stretch. Made for a great first thing in the morning class.

I m still struggling with a back injury - i ve various issues going on and have severely limited physical ability. I found this to be a nice easy paced practice that didn t kill me. I was surprised when we got to savasana - it didn t seem like 30 minutes had passed. I did feel a bit rushed in parts; likely because this was my first time through. This is a practice I can see myself able to do daily to help with my mobility, flexibility and physical ability.
Kristin has clear, easy to understand directions and is very personable with her approach and teaching style. Thank you for offering this practice!

I LOVE this class! I do it every morning when I wake up because it not only helps me start my day but addresses hip, hamstring and back soreness I have upon waking. My SI joint is always sore and the stretches in this class have helped that SO MUCH. I learned a couple of new stretches that get right to that hip/SI area.
Kristin is a fantastic teacher. She explains each position clearly so you can really do this with eyes closed and correct as you go. Sphinx pose (at the end) has done wonders for my shoulders and back. I don t think I was doing it correctly before. I do the longer version of this class when have time and it s even better!

Sadly, whilst the routine is probably good, I was so distracted by Kristin s constant comments on the model that I have no idea how I went : \ Her "nice, very nice, good, gorgeous, m-hm, very good, beautiful" at every movement made me feel completely alienated as a participant to the class. Sad, because I was going to do the 50 minute class next but don t think I could bear it.

What a great practice! I tweaked something in my lower back earlier this week, and this was a really helpful class especially first thing in the morning! I like what she mentioned about stress management and back problems, I don t think it s coincidence this flared up during finals.

Nice short gentle practice . Would love a longer version. I am currently suffering with spinal stenosis and need to lengthen low back. Loved the side and hamstring/IT band stretches. Also the modified camel which allowed upper back extensions while maintaining neutral spine. Thanks for sharing your experience.
