Power Yoga Basics

For an action, thought, or speech to be strong, it requires only strength. For it to be powerful requires the adding of honored intention. For many, power yoga can be quite a challenging practice. While not easy, this simpler sequence and slower flow invites any and all students into deeper self reflection and growth. We will break down some basics of a power yoga class like chatarunga and crow so that participants can build fluency with this faster paced style of practice. As a well-rounded practice, there will also be opportunity to decompress and restore as the sequence winds down. Strength resists, power surrenders.
