Talks too much without adding information. Talks too quickly.
Needs to have two shots: one from the side as in the video but another from the feet to see lateral movement.
Perhaps with more viewings and practices, I will appreciate the class more but is doing little for me after first practice.

In an attempt to save money and not go to a chiropractor today I decided to try out this class. I have surging back pain and didn t think I d be able to do any of the poses. Not only was I able to do them all but it definitely helped the intensity of my pain.

I’ve always wondered why i can’t do certain poses or why I always feel so tired after walking even though other people seemed ok. My posture feels locked and even after all sorts of twists and yoga classes, i get stronger, but the locked feeling never goes away.
This class helped me to soften and stretch parts of my hips which I had never accessed Nor knew existed. I feel a lot freer in my lower body, and am incredibly thankful for this teacher and this particular class.

It didn t feel like much while we were doing it, but I did notice that my hips and back felt noticeably better throughout the rest of the day.
I ll definitely come back to this one when I need a quick hip relaxer.

My hips and lower back feel free. This is a short but productive class. I d recommend it if your hips and or lower back feels tight. I also felt relaxed after the class.

I ve been feeling my lower back and hips lately, and this helped ease the kinks out. It focuses only on hips and lower back, with a small emphasis on keeping shoulders down so the upper back can twist too.

I have a terrible lower backpain for a couple of days now, and this routine really helped. After this I was finally able to do some other poses as well, so a great start. Only not 5 stars cuz I would loved to have one or more similar exercises :)

This class has been extremely instrumental in promoting movement and decreasing pain following a piriformis muscle injury with accompanying sciatic nerve pain. I complete this class nearly every morning after some basic stretches and finish with cat/cow & downward facing dog poses before starting my day...I seriously move better and have less pain!

Another great "find" on YDL. I had some low back pain - probably a result of overdoing it with an ab workout the other day. After this 20 minutes it s essentially gone, and the area feels invigorated. Shy Sayar s blog was very informative about the linkage between abs and lower back. I will make this a regular part of my routine. I do suggest allowing about 60 minutes first time through it to learn the sequences that while seemingly simple have nuances in the breath / movement coordination that you don t want to miss.

Loved it! I have a really tight lower back due to a csection which has caused me to lose strength in my core. This is great for helping me reconnect with my core and lower back.

Loved this class. I ve had to have a break from my practice and in a job that requires lots of bending and lifting I found that this class had me calling out "this is SO good!" Loved all of the precise instruction. Very helpful to fine tune the movements. This will be a staple wakeup stretch for me.

Amazing class! I had back pain and shooting pain from sciatica, so it was a little bit intense the first few times, but I just kept doing everything exactly as Shy suggested every day for the last few days, and my pain is now completely gone and has not come back. Thank you so much!

I was glad for the other reviews with their cautions. I listened to my body as I did this practice, and I think my hips benefitted. However, there was too much instruction...I found myself tuning him out. I doubt I will do this class again.

This class felt so good at the time. I am especially tight in my glutes and hips due to hyperflexibility, so this class seemed perfect for me. I should ve known I was stretching too far, but I have injured my sacrum, probably from the twisting pose on the ground. I believe moving hips over to the side increased the prone position of my back and I over stretched the tendons. I love this class in theory, but those vulnerable to similar injuries should be extra careful.
