Dana Hanizeski
Dana Hanizeski found yoga in 2001, in a dual effort to heal from injuries and deepen her ongoing seated meditation practice. She found the yoga practice did both of these things for her, and more. Her primary studies are of Iyengar Yoga, which emphasizes body alignment and is known for the use of props. She began teaching in 2006, and completed her first teacher training through the Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver. Over the years she has continued to sharpen her knowledge and teaching skills by attending workshops, trainings, and continuing to work with mentor teachers. She is Iyengar Certified at the Intermediate Junior 1 level.
Dana is known for her keen observation skills, innovative teaching style, and infectious joy for life and the yoga practice. She is passionate about teaching, and has found her life’s work helping others on the path of their yogic journeys.
