Dave Farmar  

Dave Farmar is a Power Vinyasa Yoga teacher based in Denver, Colorado in the United States.

Since he began teaching in 2005, Dave has led classes and workshops for students and instructors across the United States and internationally. Each day he reaches over 1,000 students around the world with his top-rated yoga podcasts on iTunes, and many more through his videos on yogadownload.com.

Dave has been a member of the faculty at the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute and worked frequently with Baron Baptiste and with Seane Corn. He has been featured in 5280, Elephant Journal, and Bicycling magazines and on yogajournal.com, and presented at Yoga Journal Conferences. In 2010, he was appointed to serve on the Colorado Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness.

Dave’s classes are rigorous yet fun, always working out both the body and the spirit, leading to extraordinary results.

A San Francisco Bay Area native and graduate of UCLA, Dave moved to Colorado in the early 1990s to earn a master's degree in architecture from CU, and has called the state home ever since.

From snowboarding in winter to cycling in summer, Dave is always looking to take advantage of all the Rocky Mountains have to offer. He and his wife Anna-Lisa find their true joy raising their two amazing children, Jack and Leah..
